Just Returned From Tzanetos Apts. Although The Gen
Just returned from Tzanetos Apts. Although the general pool area was nice the apartment we stayed in was not. I had read reviews saying the apts had been refurbished well the one we were in certainly had,nt. I was going to use a plate from the cupboard and it was thick with dust. The whole apartment was very shabby and in need of some serious updating. I did notice that the small (the emphasis on small) had double glazing, but they were like little cupboards inside and so dark. I am pleased we were only there for the week.

In My Opinion The Tzanetos Apartments Couldn't Hav
In my opinion the Tzanetos Apartments couldn't have been in a better location. You can see the beach from the apartments but if you walk for about 5 minutes you arrive at the nicer beach. The main strip where all the restaurants and bars are is 2 minutes walk. So you are far enough away not to be bothered by the noise or crowds but close enough to not even notice the walk! The apartment was small and basic but clean. The cleaner cleaned everyday, towels provided and changed once a week, sheets also changed weekly. Catering equipment was not amazing but it didn't bother us as we ate out most of the time. The pool area, food facilities and hosts are what really made it for us! The pool is fantastic, very clean and a good size. It was never too busy as Tzanetos only caters for a small amount of people. Sunbeds, lilos and hammocks are always available and FREE!The host could not do enough for you. She was so welcoming, always around when needed. She cooks fantastic food and very reasonable. You have to try her Moussaka that she cooks on her Greek night, It truly is the best home cooking ever! The only thing I would say is that don't book trips through the reps as you can get them for a fraction of the price just down the road!I will definitely be going back for another holiday and will be staying at Tzanetos again.

The Owners Were Very Friendly & Very Helpful, Coul
The owners were very friendly & very helpful, could not ask for nicer hosts. The apartments are a bit run down but read the Corfu news 2008 and you will realise why.
The rooms are basic 2* with new kitchen cupboards only but they are clean and the cleaner is in every day emptying bins and cleaning the floors, beds are changed once a week, towels changed once but then we did take our own towels. You can get a snack at the poolside bar any time (prices not bad). pool and gardens kept clean and tidy

Apart From Arriving And Cleaning The Place Up. Tza
Apart from arriving and cleaning the place up. Tzanetos Apartments was good, nice and peaceful and it was near to the main resort. The people who owned it were nice enough but you got the feeling they were cutting corners by not repairing things like the kids slide that was out of action all week. The cleaning seemed to be mopping the floor with water only and not much else. We have been to many Greek Islands and stayed in s.c apts so it was not a case of us being over fussy. If this had been cleaned properly we would have had no complaint's.

You Want To Relax Have A Friendly Host But You're
You want to relax have a friendly host but you're not staying in your apartment 24/7 and are going to eat out. This spot is super but not for prudes or people who fuss over silly things. Myself wife and 2 teenage kids (weans where I am from) had a week at Tzanetos Apartments, enjoyed and was made feel at home in every respect.

We Stayed At Tzanetos Apartments In September 2001
We stayed at Tzanetos Apartments in September 2001, so it may have changed a bit since then but oh my god, it was in a disgusting state. The apartments was filthy. We had to clean it ourselves. We complained to the Argo rep who could not be bothered. The pool was dangerous. Slide nearly coming out of ground and water had far to much chlorine in. We had to walk past the open sewers every night to get into the town, it stank. You could not swim in the sea after seeing that!! Stray cats and dogs a plenty. We couldn't help but feed them but Greeks nasty to them. We found a very nice hotel along the road, Three Brothers and used their pool and facilities every day. Only went back to apartment to sleep and change. Would not go there again although my first son was conceived there.
