It is definitely not 5*. There were 23 of us in a group, and we all agreed without exception that the rating was more like a 3*. Also, it is not fully All Inclusive. You have to pay for tea and coffee, and some other drinks after midnight!!
The staff were unhelpful, and they often ignored you if you did not speak German.
The first 3 days of the holiday saw heavy rain. Three of our groups rooms flooded as a result of rain coming into the room from the balcony. We were in the new section of the hotel. These guests awoke in the middle of the night to go to the loo and stepped in ankle deep water. The room of one of these guests smelled strongly of damp for the remainder of the 2 week holiday. Cracks had started to appear outside that room (Room 652).
The standard of cleanliness was poor. The cleaners were lovely, but there was just too much work for them to do, and consequently they cut corners and didn't clean the bath or wash basin daily.
I would also advise that you keep careful note of what you charge to your room. Several people from my group and other guests that we talked to were charged for drinks or the use of the spa when they shouldn't have been.

We Recently Stayed At Miramare Beach Hotel For A W
We recently stayed at Miramare Beach Hotel for a week all inclusive.
The hotel is split up into the old accommodation, which is situated by the beach where most of the facilities are ie. main Restaurant, Bars and entertainment etc.
The new accommodation is situated across the main road on an elevated position. This part is by far the superior more like 4-5 star but you have to cross the road to eat and to get to the main entertainment.
We ended up in the old part, which was clean but very basic more like 2-3 star. This however suited us as it was better located. The food was excellent with plenty of variety to suit all palates and a different Buffet style menu each day. Greek night on Friday was good with a beach style barbecue and later Greek Music & Dancing. The down point for us was the limited drink:- Draught Beer, Ouzo, Metaxa(local Brandy), house wine and pop, this was all you could have in the all inclusive package, any other drinks had to be paid for. The bar staff & waiters were very helpful and polite. Breakfast and main meal times can get quite busy so be quick to get a table!
All in all it added up to a pleasant holiday in nicely located surroundings let down slightly by the limited drink, which we were sick of by the end of the week.
