Hotel was so dirty rooms stinking that guy that owns the pool bar is a mongo would love to knock him out, a pumped 9 burds so am not bothered No scared to leave my name BIG ANDY

Me and 6 other friends stayed here in July 2010. Kavos is amazing! It's quite a small strip but we never got bored of it! This hotel is perfect for groups of people who want to party, the music is on round the pool all day and it is right on the beach. The hotel is located at the bottom of the strip so you can just make your way up the bars. I recommend rolling stones, it's a brilliant bar and they sell headfuckers which is a popular cocktail in kavos! Drinks are really cheap so no need to worry about that! The only thing i could say that was wrong with this hotel is the fact we got moved rooms 3 times as they didnt have us as booked in?! so make sure they have you down! Kavos does smell a little funny sometimes but you get used to it after a day or so! Rooms are very baisic but you get good value for money, they were very clean. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to families or anyone going away for a quiet break, because it is defineatly not quiet! Plus the fry ups at the hotel are really cheap and sort your hangover out, i'd defo go back!!!

Stayed there summer 2008 with 2 off my mates. Pool was ok but we did prefer the sea cause off the sea breeze coming in helped keep the air temp cooler for us. Rooms where good size and kept clean but we do think the cleaners where on the fiddle as a few items and money went missing even when hidden out off site and mind, and she threw items off our in the trash just for being around the room which was annoying as she managed to throw an important receipt away.

The only real problem we had with this apartment complex is the mangement are scheming crooks. Not one off the 3 off us that went smoked at all and never have, and they had the cheek to blame us, charge us and try fleecing us off money when we went to checking out for a cigarette burn in one off the bed sheets. this burn was massive and on a white sheet could not be mistaken, the owners would not believe us for not being smokers, such a filthy habit anyways but they tried to hold our passports till we payed up so we had to pay. i was not happy at all and complained to reps but they where not interested in helping either. i reckon it was the cleaner as she was alwas smoking as she cleaned the rooms..

so if your planning to use this apartment complex be warned and be carefull but overall it was a good base to stay as it was quiter at night not being directly in the middle.

Alot of the reviews I read for Odysseus Apartments were so untrue it was unreal! Although we were spoilt with our room. 3 of us went and we requested a pool view and the biggest room they had..and that's what we got, a 3 bedroom, 3 balcony apartment (no. 14) and it was awesome! Admittedly some staff are abit grumpy and put out when asked to do anything but was fine. We splashed out on air-con and its worth the 40euro! Loungers are 1.50 but that hardly hit the wallet! You are right at the top of the strip and if you don't like their food then net bar or a couple of others are just across the road. The tunes get annoying but all you gotta do is ask them to change it! Pool awesome as is the atmosphere! If it's poo just nip to another hotel like we did! There's a 24 shop for essentials and a 24 hours bar for when you roll in at stupid'o'clock! I'm not gonna lie, it's basic as hell, the sheets get changed twice a week, the cleaners come in and clean around you, take your owns towels with you and the showers are more like a wetroom...but what do you expect from a drinking holiday, it's all you need! I made sure I kept my stuff in my suitcase and kept it locked so there was no worry of stuff going missing!

Went to Kavos for a week in August and Odysseus Apartments were brill!! After reading the bad reviews some people had written I must say I was a bit put off but when I got there it was nothing like described. Ok there was no shower head holder but we balanced it on this thing on the roof and it stayed there the whole week so that wasn't an issue and no the maids didn't change the sheets the whole week but who cares they were clean when we arrived and only we had slept in them!! We got clean towels once during the week but we had our own so that wasn't a problem either!! The rooms are basic and a bit plain but have loads of storage and we didn't use the kitchen but it had the facilities there if we wanted to. The pool is brill, good size and really clean and theres music on all day (even if it is the same songs 20 times a day!!) The music isn't that loud at night and if it is you can always persuade the bar man to turn it down :) The bar is good and the food is ok too... Net bar was better though!!

Be warned though sun loungers are 1.50 a day and air con is 50 euros per room and the safe is 20 euros but all well worth paying for!! We had a few problems with air con but the staff came and fixed it everytime and were really helpful all week!! Hotel is right on the Kavos strip and i'd recommend you to go there!! Dont be put off by bad reviews!!

I loved this hotel. I went in June for a 14 night stay with about 13 friends. At first we took one look and thought it was a bit rank but it was really good actually, its basic but thats all you need, the beds where sleepable and there where plenty of space to move about in, the shower wasn't too good but we improvised and taped the shower head to the roof as there where no holder for it lol.

Your nealy right in the centre of everything, you are surrounded by bars and places to eat which is good and handy.

Over all it was a great holiday and we will be bk next summer for the 5th time.

The Odysseus Apartments room was sooo filthy, (soggy loo roll dirty towel, dirty bed linen and minging sinks). We travelled as a couple, when we got there they put all the other couples on the other side of the hotel away from the big groups, they put us smack bang next to a row of rooms with large groups. I mean we r 20 and 23 and def not boring but the idiots opposite to us n down the hall would still be screaming and shouting and banging doors up till bout 6am. There was never anyone to complain to in reception. The maids would come into our room when we were out and we would be lucky to get the bin in the loo changed. There was nothing to do in the day, the beach was horrible if u can call it a beach. The place smelt the whole time. Some of the restaurants are ok. If the weather is poor like it was when we where there Sep 08 we ended up in the movie bar most of the time (who goes on hol to watch tv!). But overall if you want to go to a place with loads of lads that act about 12, a place that smells and want to watch tv all day then ull luv it.

Right in the heart of the nightlife, I thought it would be busier, we went at the start of the season (1st June) and it stayed quite quiet but I preferred it that way. Beach at hand, heaps of restaurant although we always went to the Drunken Squid. Ace place to stay and ace holiday! Don't do the trips the reps sell you its a complete waste of time and money.

Best holiday resort! Superb atmosphere Odysseus best apartments in Kavos. Nothing bad oh yeah the pool bar running out of pizza's at 6am.

Having said all them bad points, Kavos itself is a wicked place, and you hardly spend time in your apartment any way I went and had a brilliant time.
