my boyfriend and myself recently stayed at the ionian sea view hotel, 12/09/09-19/09/09, well where do i start, we booked half board which includes your breakfast and tea, after a 3 hour transfer we were the last to be dropped off, we got to hotel starving, all they gave us was toast jam cup of tea, they class this as a continental breakfast, i just laughed in her face said this is stupid we have paid £400.00 for a week we get this, 2nd our room, we got in room, it was a basic 2 beds a mirror, a dirty floor,& a plastic shower which fell of the wall. you could only just the shower between 5.30pm to 7.30pm so you could not have shower am anytime as it was freezing cold, 3rd sink was blocked & toilet never flushed, so we called the maintainenace guy after 3 hours he appeared and sorted the loo but not the sink, 4th, towles are changed on a weekly basis you get 2 big towles 2 small, you are supposed to make them last to you go home, i was fuming at this point and demanded we get our towles changed every other day, you get 1 toilet roll, then you have to buy the rest, our other patio door was broke but the inside one was ok,the so could beach is not there, all you ahave is the pool, then you go down somwe steps beautiful smell of sewage comming from sea, you get bit badly by wasp they come from the sea, there are hornets flying about everywhere which you have to dodge every five minutes,choose of food from menu half board 3 choices once you have had all of them you have to have same, we ate out loads as the food was not good, if you complain to the rep she do not do anything about this, when you walk in to the lively part there are no lights so you can easily loose your way and it is quite doddgy round there if girl on own, please read before you book, also forgot to add your toilet bins do not get emtied to 3 days disgusting, please please please avoid, but if you dont care then go ahead.
