Just Stayed Here At Eriva Apartments June 2009. T

just stayed here at Eriva Apartments june 2009. The thing i did not like was that we

had room 29 above pool and bar and from there we had music

18 hours a day from the bar area which was a bit irritating at

times. I think music till 5 am is a bit much. However people

are on holiday and perhaps this is what they want. I have never

had a package holiday before and I will not have one again

not really my thing,so I am probably not your usual type on

this holiday. Do not think younger people would like it here

as the music is very dated ie fifties to seventies. bingo quiz

etc. all rather twee but enjoyed by some.

Eriva Apartments Are Brilliant For Kids. The Pool

Eriva apartments are brilliant for kids. The Pool and pool side was cleaned daily and always spotless. The maids were always there for your room needs and are very polite. The staff are absolutely fantastic as they are on the go all day long. A bonus is that I know my way around Acharavi like the back of my hand and know where there is a good place to eat and where not to eat. I advise Acharavi Park and The Pumphouse are great places to eat. If your looking for a nice breakfast then make your way to Orpheus. If you have kids take them to Aqualand they are guaranteed the day of there life their. Overall I Shall Be Going To Acharavi Throughout My Lifetime. It is brilliant and the people are fantastic.

Lovely Relaxing Holiday, I Would Definitely Recomm

Lovely relaxing holiday, I would definitely recommend the Eriva Apartments to anyone and would definitely stay there again. It is worth noting that there are lot of mosquitoes out there and we did get quite bitten, day and night; Corfu is quite green and due to environmentalists, spraying has been banned so go armed with a good repellent! The thing we most liked was the people, they were very friendly and trusting, there is virtually no crime out there and you feel very safe. I imagine it would be great if you had kids too, the weather was great, hot but pleasant with a gentle breeze and the beach is very near by too!

We Were Meant To Be Staying In A 1 Bed Apartment F

We were meant to be staying in a 1 bed apartment for 4 people, but it was more like a studio. The sofa, if you can call it that had no back to it, and it was in the bedroom. The kitchen only had two chairs, and I don't see how 4 people could sit on only 2 chairs. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, and the pillows hurt my head. We complained to our rep, but it was a waste of time. It was meant to be a family holiday but it was full of couples. We travelled with a 2 year old, and most of the people around the pool gave us nasty looks as our 2 year old liked to run around a lot.

It would be a perfect holiday if you are travelling as a couple, but a nightmare holiday if you have children. Don't bother booking a 1 bed apartment as it's a studio. Go for the 2 bed if you have to book to stay at the Eriva Apartments in Acharavi.

We Had Hoped For A Quiet Holiday At The Eriva Apar

We had hoped for a quiet holiday at the Eriva Apartments in Acharavi, but these apartments in peak season resembled a hot Butlins. Anyone without kids got out of the way fast. The sunbeds were taken the night before. We had a 3 year old who enjoyed the pool and made friends, but it was so busy, and the toddler pool was used often as part of the water polo, so it could get pretty rough for the small people. There was never any peace! The apartments were really noisy. Although, we did have a particularly bad room, which they refused to change (thanks a lot Thomas Cook).

The Eriva Apartments Are Lovely We Have Stayed The

The Eriva Apartments are lovely we have stayed there twice and we are planning to go back again next year. The family are all lovely and would do anything to help you. Yes, o.k., the towels are not changed regularly enough but hey this is Greece and everything is done at a slow pace. The location is absolutly perfect. We found the best places to eat are the "Vamos" restaurant and "Valentines" and there is a lovely little family bar just around the corner called the "Starlite" bar. How anyone could not like the Eriva Apartments is beyond me.

Eriva Apartments - I Stayed At Eriva For Two Weeks

Eriva Apartments - I stayed at Eriva for two weeks. The apartment was clean and very well equipped with everything you could need for a holiday abroad. Bed linen was only changed once in the fortnight but towels and rubbish done every other day.

The pool is plenty adequate for the amount of guests staying at Eriva with plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar serves basic food but it is very well presented and tasty. the owners of Eriva Spiro's and aAngela are extremely nice people and are willing to accommodate your requests.

The seafront and beach are within a minute's walk and although pebble beach very refreshing when HOT. The restaurants along sea front are all good but I would highly recommned the NAVIGATOR as staff are friendly and food excellent. They also have a pool and sun loungers for use by diners!

The main town of Acharavi is a short walk - 2/3 minutes - from Eriva and again caters for everybody. A good place to eat here is the Valentines on left at far end of high street - easy too see why voted best restauarnt in area.

There is also a water park in Acharavi that is not mentioned by the hotel reps in the welcome meeting as they promote Aqualand - but at half the price and within walking distance although a taxi only cost 5 euro's is Hydropark - FAB day out for KIDS (and grown up kids) with slides for ages 1 to 100!!!

I would recommend Eriva apartments to anyone who wants a quiet, easy holiday with fun.

I returned home saturday 25/6/2005 and have already booked for later this year.

Eriva Apartments Are Lovely. They Are Situated In

Eriva Apartments are lovely. They are situated in an excellent location between the main street and the beach. The owners are lovely and we regarded them as friends when it was time to come home. Our apartment was very spacious, although I do believe some of them can be quite small. The pool/bar area is excellent. Plenty of loungers and good snacks on offer throughout the day. [although some guests were guilty of sneaking down and putting their towels out]. The beach, although not the prettiest, serves its purpose. Quite pebbly in sections - but again plenty of loungers, and very safe for children as it gently slopes into the sea. Plenty of bars and cafes along the beach front, and most charge around 6 Euros for 2 loungers and a parasol. The main street is choked with good eating places and bars. We liked Yannis, situated next to The Panda Bar, just off the main street - heading into the old town. The Pump House was good too. The Mythos Bar on the main street was lovely and Fengelis, our barman was one of the nicest men you could hope to meet. Only complaint was the amount of times they changed the towels - very infrequently! One large towel and two hand towels are the norm as the Greeks think it is more hygenic to use small towels. Shower curtains are also rare - although we did have one. The Greeks believe they are also unhygenic. The main supermarket on the corner as you come up from the Eriva is handy although the assistants have to be the most dour and rude we have ever come across! Mosquitos are a problem so please spray yourself liberally before heading out, and don't make the mistake that they only come out at night! Their bite can be fairly nasty - especially for children. Woodys on the beach do a mean breakfast. [especially after too much Ouzo]. Make allowances, relax and enjoy the Eriva - it really is a wee gem.

Carol and I (Dave) stayed at these apartments in May 2000. We really enjoyed it, especially the location and the fact that we met some lovely people, known to us as Nan and Ian, they were scottish, from East Kilbride I think. If they are reading this please email me at kerkira@webtec.net.au as we would love to hear from you. Remember, we had many laughs together. Regards Dave & Carol from Australia.

Eriva Apartments Are In An Excellent Location With

Eriva Apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to both beach and town. The apartments are clean, larger than average, relatively well furnished and all with balconies or verandas. Some are a little dated in decor, although ours was superb. Combine this with cheerful, helpful staff and owners, a super pool which is particularly child friendly, good poolside facilities and constant hot water (I've been enjoying Greek holidays for 20 years now and this was the first time I could have a warm shower at any time, night or day)and you have all the essential ingredients for an enjoyable holiday.

Eriva Apartments are not ideal if you are hoping an action filled holiday with all night partying, nor if you are looking for total peace and quiet. However, if you are looking for a good child-friendly location and/or enjoy mixing with other holiday makers they are definitely recommended.
