Vangelis Hotel Apartments

Good points, situation. Bad points, Broken and dirty sunbeds, no decent bar facilities, bed linen was almost transparent, towels were hard, self catering facilities were awful, apartment was not swept in the whole 2 weeks of our hols, the grounds were full of litter. I think the star rating and pricing for these apartments should be changed to 2 star they are certainly not 4 star in my opinion.

2 nice beaches (Fig Tree bay is the nicest one) plenty of watersports etc & boat trips available at both. At fig tree bay if you swim out to the rock in the middle you will see lots of fish, buy a snorkle it's worth it n take some bread crumbs for the fish if you want to be swormed by them! Lots of pubs, a bakery, restaurants, bars, 2 nightclubs, several mini supermarket shops, few clothes shops. BEST BAR is the CHEER'S bar! it was cheep & cheerful & food nice. We were glad we were self catering as there was so many nice places we ate at such as the Italian thats right outside the hotel, Tj's which is opposite the hotel, the Chinese & loads more. Cheapest English breakfast can be found at the 'Rives's' bar which is on the right as you come out of the hotel. At most bars there are were Tributes such as Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Elvis etc.

I have stayed at The Vangelis apartments twice. On both occasions I found the apartments to be clean and tidy, they were well equiped with everything you should need for a self catering holiday. I did find the pool area a bit too busy! One side of the pool lost the sun early afternoon which meant most people were squashed on one side. Overall the apartments were very good and I would certainly recommend these to anybody looking for a good priced family holiday.
