My Family And I Have Been Going To The Paschalia H
My family and I have been going to the Paschalia Hotel since August 2005. Each year we have stayed on a bed and breakfast board and found it very convenient. There is a full range of continental choices for breakfast. Toast, Cereals, cold meats, English breakfast etc. All food is cooked fresh. There are also facilities to make tea, coffee and cold drinks. Occasionally, we had lunch which you could order at the windmill taverna. They have a range of meals to offer, including sandwiches, salads etc. Each night dinner is themed, EG Italian, Greek. Both breakfast and lunch are served as a buffet and you can eat as much as you like.
The Hotel is kept as clean as can be. The maids work extremely hard, cleaning the corridors and making the beds and cleaning the room everyday. There is a large pool with a smaller children's pool with beautiful grounds in the hotel. A pool bar is at hand throughout the day and also a games room with a few machines and pool tables etc.
The hotel is located in Protaras, around the corner from a few bars and restaurants. However, there a lot more if you take a short walk further into Protaras and along the strip. This year there has been a Variety show at the Sphinx Bar. It includes a drag act and dancing. It was an absolutely brilliant show. Extremely hilarious and some of the dancing was amazing, you sat there with your mouth open!
The staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely! They are so friendly and welcoming. Each year we go back and they have remembered us every single time. You're always greeted with a happy smile and welcoming arms. The hotel Manager is a lovely man and every year has made our stay at the Paschalia wonderful. Over the last few years we have become friends with the staff and they're always pleased to see us.
During the days, there are activities such as water polo. Darts and many more, including a kids club. However there could be a few more activities and the evening entertainment could do with being changed.
My family and I would love to visit this hotel again but will not get the chance to do so as this hotel is closing near the end of October. We are very shocked and extremely upset about this as every year we look forward to going back. We just wish the Hotel Paschalia could stay open so we could make further visits.
