What A Wonderful Surprise!
We booked Almyra on the recommendation of friends. We arrived and were greeted in a very warm manner, with a local sweet and fresh towels. The reception guys were so friendly and our little daughter felt immediately at home.
the room was beautiful, although that's an area they can slightly improve by updating it a bit. Maybe an i-dock and a luggage rack would help.
The pools were great, the creche very accommodating, the restaurants wonderful and the food divine! Notious restaurant was our favourite with fantastic food and service!
My wife tried the spa and said it was her best experience ever! I have to mention the peaceful spa pool, only for adults and ideal for the time that our girl was in the creche.
In a few words, GO TO ALMYRA and you will love it! We will soon be moving to Cyprus, but even then I think we will be visiting the hotel!

This Holiday, Almyra, Kato Paphos Was For My Honey
This holiday, Almyra, Kato Paphos was for my honeymoon and we had a great time. There is a honeymoon package which I bought for £118 CYP this gave a room upgrade, a free 5 course meal in the sea facing restaurant worth £44 CYP, a champagne breakfast in the room, a free gift on arrival and Champagne in the room on arrival, I think it was very good value.
The hotel is extremely modern, with black slate on the floors and an abundance of soft furnishings in the reception area, which also has a nice bar. The bar sells the greatest milkshakes in European history!! The reception then has a spiral staircase down to one of the three restaurants, where breakfast is served in the morning.
The breakfast is very good, serving Bacon, Egg, Sausage, beans, all those English favourites, along with all the continental food and cereals. They also provide lots of fresh fruit which was very tasty and they would also whip up a smoothy for you.
All in all the holiday was amazing, the resort has a very lively bar street, but we gave that a miss, it reminded me of a much smaller scale Ayia Napa. We headed down toward the harbour where there a lot of nice restaurants. I reckon you'll have a great time if you book here, it's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Oh and if you get a chance book a meal on top of the Kyma suite, the Kyma suites are the most expensive rooms, which have massive roof terraces. You can book a 5,7 or 9 course meal on the roof terrace which is individually tailored to your likes, you can also have recommended wine with each course for £10 CYP extra which is a good deal because you end up with a whole lot of wine!! It wasn't cheap but it was definitely a highlight of our honeymoon.
