Macronissos Village Resort

Very nice stay. Lots of sunshine and lovely people. Sea and sand were great. Lovely beaches.

The only thinking lacking for people going self catering was not enough utensils. Accommodation could have been a bit better. Cleaners were good, apartment cleaned almost everyday.

Bus rides are great to go wherever you want to go.

Did not see much of the Cypriat side. Real traditional restaurants etc. When travelling remember siesta times.

Having read varied reports on this resort before going, was unsure what to expect but had a really good two weeks at the Macronissos. Found all staff very friendly - particularly Penny and Costas behind the bar; have always found its how you treat them is how you will be treated! Bungalow we had was fine for the two of us although can see how if you have air conditioning, it may be a problem if there are 4 of you as it is only in the bedroom. Grounds and pool area immacultely kept. Choice of food was fine - maybe not 5 star but then this isn't a five star hotel - had a lot worse all-inclusive at higher star hotels in the past. Will definitely go back at some point.
