Obzor, Tropicana

Overall we really enjoyed our holiday, its cheap and we found it so relaxing. We would love to go back and take our boys.

We booked this hotel while it was still being built, we got a good price for my husband, my granddaughter and myself. The hotel itself was nice but it still has a few teething problems, hopefully these will improve as time goes on. There didn't seem to be many staff and those that were there didn't speak much English, breakfast was a bit basic and the same every morning. The toasters were very slow, there didn't seem to be enough staff on at this time, as you were constantly waiting for them to bring something out ie cutlery/cups but they did try their best.

The pool area was adequate but then I'm not big in the swimming department, not much space around the pool itself, loungers were provided but there were not enough of them. Access from the hotel lobby was down a slope, which does get really slippery when wet, we witnessed a nasty fall and my heart was in my mouth watching children running in and out with wet feet. There is alternative access through the dining area.

There is a bar in reception but no entertainment, this you can find at the next hotel, which is all inclusive but you do have to pay to go in 10 levs for an adult, with all local beers/spirits included.

/In the hotel reception, there is a TV but beware, don't let the kids have the remote as there is no restriction on adult channels.

There are plenty of eating places around the town, which are quite cheap, the three of us ate for around twenty levs including drinks.

This resort looks as though it is only just starting out, may be in a few years time it will have developed a bit more atmosphere. If you're young and looking for excitement go somewhere else, don't bring the kids here as there is absolutely nothing for them to do, it would suit the older person looking for a quiet holiday.
