I just wish some enterprising airline would pay attention to the very large group of people who have purchased properties in Bulgaria and require scheduled flights to Burgas or Varna, going to Sofia means at least one change in either Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Warsaw or Prague, then a long drive to the coast which is time consuming and travel can take up to 4 days overall out of your holiday. We elected to book a charter flight this time with Balkan holidays, the flight was cramped, hot and the aircraft was older than god. The staff were more interested in making sure their make up was in place than serving customers. A bad experience all round. This sardine tin type travel does not inspire people to return to Bulgaria via that route and to be honest I feel after what we went through we would rather go via Sofia after all. Its obvious when they cut down on the air supply to save fuel you end up almost suffocating, additionally the safety demo was poor too and the food yuck.
