Hanoi, Golden Lake View Hotel

We stayed Golden Lake View last week. This place is excellent for the price. It is located in the Old Quarter which really is the place to stay in Hanoi. I just spent 1 minute to walk from the hotel to HoanKiem Lake. The aircondition works well, there if free wifi and the complimentary breakfast is great. Moreover the staffs who are very friendly and helpful. Especially Peter who introduced many good tours for my family with great services. Highly recommended this hotel.

The Golden Lake View Hotel offered excellent service as well as a free breakfast. Even though I had not checked in yet, the staff went out of their way and secured my Ha Long Bay reservation with confirmation as I was in transit on an overnight train to Hanoi. They also picked me up at the train station at 4:00am and offered me a shower, coffee and breakfast (6:30 am) before being picked up at 8am for Halong Bay cruise. When checking in after my two day cruise, I was surprised by the accommodation offered by the medium sized Golden Lake View Hotel. This was by far our best accommodation and service over our multinational 18 day stay in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

My family and i spent 3 nights at the Golden Lake View Hotel.It exceeded my expectations.We stayed in a City View.The room was spacious and very clean.The location is perfect, just a block from main part of the old quarter . We easily walked there as well as to the Dong Xuan Market, Water puppet show...Hoan kiem lake.

The staff was great. Helpful and efficient staff also organized our tours to Halong bay and train tickets to Sapa.

My friends recommended this hotel to us and we would also recommend it without any hesitation.

I found and booked this hotel by the recommendation on booking.com and also my advises from my partners. Absolutely, it was my very good choice. The staff was excellence to find my bag that my wife left on the taxi and gave us the recommendations in Hanoi. We also booked the tour to Halong bay and Sapa at the travel desk. They are doing very good job. Thanks for our pleasant stay and very good time in Hanoi. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for all.

The location of this hotel is very great. Nears Hoan Kiem lake and shopping central. We stayed here for 2 nights and extended 1 more after Halong bay tour. The staff is very nice. Mr tour man organized us the whole of our trips in Vietnam from Hanoi to Halong bay, Hui, Nha trang and Saigon. I'm glad for my good choice and definitely stay here again if I come back.

We stayed totally 4 nights and felt very satisfied. This hotel is very centrally location within walking distance from all the sights and sounds of Hoan Kiem Lake and Old French Quarter. The staff was incredible helpful and friendly arranged us the transportation service including the airport taxi and the train tickets to Sapa. I very appreciated the arranging someone from the hotel to take us all the way into the train station to the point of getting us on the right carriage. They kept our luggage for free during our tour and charged us very cheap price (5USD per person) to have bath and a short rest after Sapa tour (arrive every early in the morning) before going to Ha Long bay. There weren’t trouble in whole our trips and the room in this hotel made me very comfortable. I’m happy to know that Golden Lake View hotel was my excellent choice during the trips in Vietnam. I’m surely to come back and stay here again.

Thanks to all Golden Lake View Hotel's staff who made our trip wonderful. Firstly, our room was huge and neatly arrangement. It is also bright and very clean. The breakfast is on the top floor served by very friendly man who speaks English very good. The front office staffs were incredibly accommodating and arranged for all our needs. We booked the tour at the travel desk to Halong, and Ninh Binh and booked 2 more night before flying to Thailand. Thank you once again for taking care of us. We will definitely stay again.

I am Vietnamese and living in Ho Chi Minh city. I come to Hanoi for my business. I chose this hotel because it has great location. Very near Hoan Kiem lake, Night Market and easy for getting to all things. My room is spacious, clean and free wifi is one plus. I am a little picky person in choosing a hotel. But this hotel did not make me disappointed. I will come back again.
