This Hotel Is The Result Of Lazy Travelers Who Get

This hotel is the result of lazy travelers who get straight off the bus and can't be bothered shopping around. I was one of them. After booking 3 nights, we were rudely evacuated at 6pm after the first night, kicked out onto the busy streets of Hanoi with nowhere to go an no apology, because they can't organize their business well enough to allow for group bookings. Either that or they just auction off your room to the highest bidder. The staff are either rude or heckling you to book a tour, where they make their real money. In hindsight, its probably good we left before out property was stolen from. Go one street behind and stay at any of the perfectly good opposition hotels.

The Rooms At The Elizabeth Hotel Are Nice But The

The rooms at the Elizabeth Hotel are nice but the staff is just horrible! Unpolite, pushing and wants to sell tour tickets no matter what. We stayed there for a couple of nights in July 2008 but that was a huge mistake! I would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed With 8 Family Members In March 2008. Overch

Stayed with 8 family members in March 2008. Overcharged on exchange rate to the bank around the corner. We had booked a superior room and was given a standard room but was still charged for it x 4 rooms. Wasn't happy. Get your booking right. Supply extra pillows if required

Not All Rooms Have Hair Dryer, Window And Balcony,

Not all rooms have hair dryer, window and balcony, mini bar and working table as advertised in their official website.

Do not book train ticket or tours through the hotel especially the train ticket to Sapa. I was charged USD 32 per pax one way when in reality it is only USD 20.
