Langkawi, Four Seasons Resort

Beautiful resort, I would definitely like to stay there again if I went to Langkawi.

My second visit to Langkawi Four Seasons Resort which is surely one of the worlds best, and in my opinion now surpasses the Datai.

Beach front villas offer huge accomodation together with own infinity pools which in turn lead onto the beach. Garden villas are equally comfortable but you may not have ocean view.The gardens are however extremely colourful & attractive.

Hight speed internet connection in room available at no extra cost.

Complete privacy and seclusion in utter luxury. Nothing is too much for the willing friendly staff who go out of their way to make your experience a memorable one.

Several fine restaurants, excellent variety of food but meals served on your own beach front patio are the ultimate in comfort and luxury, especially enjoying your meal watching the sunset over the ocean with mountains of Thailand in the distance.

Kuah Town is just 20 mins drive away with modern shops and being a duty free island, some good value shopping as well.

The island is a nature reserve. Go on some of the nature walks on the resort as well as a boat trip to the mangrove nature area to see eagles in their natural environment is a must. Do go with the resort's nature expert who is extremely knowledgable and worth the cost.

Avoid rooms too close to the mountain as the sun takes some time to come up and monkeys can be a nuisance.

Watersports are available such as wind surfing, canoeing & catamaran sailing at no cost.

All in all one of the worlds best and highly recommended.
