I Stayed At A Hyatt Hotel In November 2006. This I
I stayed at a Hyatt Hotel in November 2006. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, the facilities were 5 star, the rooms I stayed in could not possibly qualify. These must surely be an embarrassment to the Hyatt chain. My room was supposed to have been one of the better rooms with a sea view, in fact the window was so dirty it spoiled the view. The furniture looked like it was designed in the 60's for domestic use, not hotels, it was drab and scratched all over, the old carpet had numerous stains and was patched in several places, the walls had several dirty splash marks around it, the light and power switches were so greasy and dirty that I was reluctant to touch them. The wash basin had deep disgusting cracks covering half it's area. At my request I was moved to another room, it wasn't much better. After three days of what was going to be an 18 day stay, I moved out. I transferred to the Zon Hotel, formally the Eden hotel, about 5 miles away and closer towards the causeway with Singapore. The Zon's rooms are what the Hyatt's rooms should be like.
