Diani Beach Ukunda Apartments

My first stay at this location and from the first enquiry as to availability to finally leaving for home was an excellent experience.Obviously there were one or two minor things that all places have but the owner and his management team and staff were on the case immediatelly remedying every thing and doing all in thier power to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.The complex consist of four cottages and six apartments with a fair sized pool that is kept immaculately clean.Iunderstand that the present owners only took control in june of this year and even now are updating and making the facility even better.The service of the apartments is efficient the ladies are trustworthy and will even for a very moderate fee do your laundry.When in the area the owner himself visits daily and chats with guests and HUGH and Magdelena the managers are exceptionaly good at their job running the place as well as if not better than some of the major hotel groups I have worked for and stayed at over 30 years.

It is a small oasis in a quiet area of DIANI well within walking distance of the beach and many other attractions it is not a loud party place but suits family and couples I can only unreservedly reccomend the place but in doing so worry that it get too popular and I will not be able to get my booking next trip..Oh and there is fast broadband connection another business that they run giving the best connection for I think 20 +miles

contact them through the HOTGOSSIP.KE site as at themoment thier website is still being prepared (it may well be done by now) In conclusion I would say if you stay at INDIAN SUMMER COTTAGES you have hit lucky and believe me I know catering and hotels having spent a lifetime as a chef in Hiltons and other 5 star hotels around the world. please note I have given a 5 star for food as it is compulsary to submit revue the complesx is self catering
