La Palmeraie Is A Great Hotel To Stay At. It Is Ab
La Palmeraie is a great hotel to stay at. It is about an hours transfer time by road. On east coast so windy in winter. Nice enough beach although a bit rocky. Great service from staff who go out of their way to help you. Alternating between a la carte and buffet each day with limited choice on the a la carte menu and food very nouveau cuisine, so not very good if you have a voracious appetite. Drinks expensive compared to local places but worth doing the happy hour between 1830 and 1930.
Overall still recommend this place to stay if you go to Mauritius.
