Beachcomber Trou Aux Biches

Trou Aux Biches in Mauritius is a resort living on its past reputation. It is now in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are in a poor state and are nowhere near standards expected today in less expensive hotels. This is a big disappointment since the food and service is good. We would return, but only after major refurb.

I got married in Mauritius and the staff at Trou aux biches couldn't have been more helpful. We also had a lot of family that travelled there as well for the wedding and when we moved down to La Paradis for the second week, they arrange for my parents to stay for come down to stay for 2 nights with us free of charge. More choice of food at La Paradis.

My now husband enjoyed the Golf at Paradis it was excellent.

There was nothing better than sitting by the beach side bars enjoying a drink and the fantastic sunsets.

One thing I would say is (what I found out when I got there) is that the best time to come if about Sept. Oct time and there is hardly any rain and it isn't so hot you can't stand it.
