The Airport When You Arrive Is A Little Overpoweri
The airport when you arrive is a little overpowering - porters just trying to get your cases from you and then different porters putting them on the coach and all want paying! In the first few days we were hassled a little from beach sellers etc but once you have a little bit of a tan and you get used to them, it is all good fun.

If You Go Outside The Resort, Take A Tour Guide Fr
If you go outside the resort, take a tour guide from the green building outside the hotel. We used a guy called Armstrong. He was really well informed with plenty of local knowledge and took us to Banjul market and a tiny nursery, which has been built entirely by donations.

The Kairaba Hotel is top class with lovely rooms, especially those in the garden area. It's standards are worth the 5* rating. Staff very helpful & friendly. Lovely pool area.
