Marsa Alam, Akassia Swiss Resort

Akassia swiss Resort marsa alam is truly wonderful, very large complex loads of pools, wavepool as well. Aqua park was great fun my daughter absolutely loved it ,so did us adults. Grounds imaculate as were the rooms, light airey and spotless. Staff were lovely ,friendly and very helpful. quite enjoyed entertainment cobra man is a must.Food cooked really well altho gets a bit repetitive, deserts and cakes were lovely. Waitress Rosha in the lobby bar was lovely ,efficient and always acknowledged you, spent most of our evenings up there. Decoration in the lobby absolutely amazing. Only downside was middle of knowhere but we already knew this before travel, and hotel didnt exchange travellers cheques, bit of a pain because bank card didnt work either had too use credit card. watch check in at airport for luggage weight tried too charge us for excess but cos we had no cash they let us off, how strange. Not many brits there,dont know what your missing. Rep was great, very knowledable. Did a trip to valley of kings, very long day but well worth the experience, saw tuts mummified body in is tomb amazing.Would definately return.
