Was Very Disappointed This Is My Experience Is Not
Was very disappointed this is my experience is not a 5* hotel the bathroom was horrible, could not use bath as was so badly stained and cracked all fittings in bathroom were discoloured or rusty. Shower was a trickle, water was yellow. Bedroom badly in need of a face lift but clean, was told by rep that rooms were being renovated and we must have had one of the rooms that had not yet been done. Was so disappointed and could not wait to get home, I have stayed in 5* hotels in Dubai and knew that this hotel may not come to the standards of those but did expect a nice bathroom.

The Holiday Is What You Make It, Don't Believe Eve
The holiday is what you make it, don't believe every review you read. Please remember you are in another culture alright they do some things different, go with the flow I am sure you will enjoy. Going on different trips is fun except the desert stars one. Having read a lot of reviews before going I was very skeptical about going I am glad I did. If you do go down with a poorly tummy forget all the stuff you'll probably take and simply get the local chemist tablets they work wonders. Tips if you want to give, give, if not don't and haggle for everything, make it fun the Egyptians don't mind why should we. Enjoy

First When We Arrived We Got Two Single Beds And A
First when we arrived we got two single beds and a camp bed although we quite explicitly asked for a double and a single, this was soon sorted out. But then after having to get up at 6 o'clock in the morning to arrive we found we had to listen to music that was on till 11PM. However once again this was rectified. We found that the food was the same every night. If you plan to sit by the pool and relax, your peace will soon be cut short by people advertising different things. Also the guy selling newspapers asks for about £3 so do not be fooled. Also if you plan on also going to the beach when you jump in the sea from one of the jetty's watch yourself as the ladders are made out of metal and very hard to cling onto. When they were sorting out the beds they gave us ripped mattress's. We went to Cairo and when we got back the hotel wouldn't even let us get a sandwich that we had to wait around half an hour to an hour! The staff although were relatively friendly. It is hardly surrounded by entertainment and the entertainment itself was very bad.

Just Arrived Back From The Dreams Beach, The Hotel
Just arrived back from The Dreams Beach, the hotel is a good three star and is definitely over rated, we have been to Sharm three years running and stayed at the Hilton Dreams and the Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort and both these hotels knocked spots of the Dreams Beach, its a bit scruffy and could do with a lick of paint, although its sister hotel the Dreams Vacation is newly built and very clean and sparkling, the rooms in the Dreams Beach could do with some updating and the bathroom is pretty poor, while we were there the metal bar on the wall fell off, could have been a nasty accident for someone if they were elderly also one of the knobs on the wardrobe came off and the screw sticking out scratched my friends arm very badly, when both faults reported the staff just shrugged! No four star treatment at all. Food, you are fine if you like pasta and eggs, there wasn't a lot of choice each day it was some kind of meat dish with potatoes and saut ed veg, a carvery/fish, or pasta, the desserts were great or you could have pancakes or melon every other night, it was very repetitive and is supposed to be themed, we used to try and guess which theme it was as sometimes it was impossible to tell so we would go with International Night again!!. the tea and coffee service is a poor, not sure what the coffee tastes like but as far as the tea goes its a big jug of water with two tea bags swimming around in there tied to the handle so you are fine it is the end of the pot but its a bit weak if you catch him at the beginning of his round if you can catch him at all!! The pools... the main one is chaos and not for those looking for a relaxing time as its full of animation staff playing volley ball, football etc, the bottom pool by the Grill house is great though, and the drinks waiter does a great job, as far as the Grill house restaurant goes, lunch is okay even though its bbq meat, koftas, potatoes and chips every day, we went for the evening meal and it was horrible the koftas and fish were raw, we walked out before dessert, tasteless ice cream. The Mexican at the Dreams Vacation was one of the best meals we had there though and for £9 GBP you can't go wrong and even if you don't really like Mexican food they will do their best to accommodate your tastes, e.g. serve the guacamole, salsa separately. Entertainment, severely lacking I'm afraid, we went in a party of four and even though it is all inc we went into Naama Bay 4 times, we went to Hard Rock (v expensive but worth it), Pizza Hut twice, very cheap 4 pizzas, 4 starters and drinks came to £21.Back to the non existent entertainment... exactly there is none at the Dreams Beach, everyone sits in the lobby, however it gets very smoky in there and there is not enough seats for everyone, the table service is pretty none existent so you do have to queue even though we went in Sept it wasn't too bad but I can imagine how bad it must have been in the Summer months. There is a singer at the Dreams Vacation in the lobby bar there and even though he isn't that great he is a nice guy. All in all I guess we got what we paid for but I wouldn't go All Inclusive again, it's a bit like Butlins.
I have just come back from Dreams Beach report and totally agree with everything you say. Might have had the same room as our bracket came off the bathroom wall as well!! I would never go back there again and it should never be rated as a 4*+ to 5* hotel
