I'm happy with travel lodge, I frequently stay with these guys when I travel around and there service has always been good. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay at a good price.

Recently had to cancel a travelodge booking due to family reasons and only got. A full refund when I sent a recorded delivery letter to the travelodge hq with copy's of the hospital appointments. Could in no way change the original booking due their extremely complicated computer system that bars alterations unless its on a same price which would have meant changing the above appointments for months to suite travelodge. This is absolutely no way to run a business let alone a hotel chain have since received. An email letter and a full refund

Went up to liverpool over the weekend and stayed in travel lodge, Very pleased with the overall service and would defiantly stay In travel lodge again.

Recently got a cheap deal on a family room at the travel lodge central perth. It was nice enough carpet made me a bit dizzy staff were friendly and went and got me extra pillows aswell. Extra bedding for the childs bed we were told to carry through ourselves while we struggle with our luggage and an excited child, but I did ask and they said they could take it for us if we couldn't manage. Would of been nice just to put it in the room for us as other travel lodges have done with our short off the hand bookings. Room could of been slightly cleaner with cobwebs but bathroom towels and bedding were all perfectly spotless.Beautiful gardens just outfront where you can feed the ducks. Shops a short walking distance. Seem s anice area and our car was safe in the carpark outback where they provided us inside with free parking tickets. I found this place quite quiet as we are next to a main road and also a pub/restaurant. Bed was very comfy and the layout of the family room we got has been better than previously. Would definately come back again. The tv did not seem to work. channels were available though. 2nd travel lodge in a row where the tv has not worked properly.

I stayed at the travel lodge in Cardiff recently and it was a terrible experiance.

The hotel window was broken and all night I was kept up by a generator and loud cardiff nightlife. Woke up in the morning and no remote for the TV.

Not a great nights sleep

We stayed here during our break to Edinburgh. I have to say that I wasn't very impressed. The hotel charges you £10 to check in early, i.e to check in at a normal hour. Their usual check in time is 3pm. The view from our room wasn't too bad, but that was as good as it got. The bathroom was dated and dirty.

The bed was so soft, that I had bad ache for a week afterwards. We also paid to have breakfast, which to be honest was abysmal. It's OK if you eat meat, but for a vegetarian, the only option was toast and cereal.

On the first day we were there, a maid opened the door and walked in, while we were there. She then rushed out realising her mistake. Wasn't impressed by that. Overall the hotel is dated, and in serious need of a makeover. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights at travel lodge wellington, pretty nice and big room. More space in the kitchen area would have been good. Location is ok, so is the staff and facilities.

travelodge termninal 5 is good location for travellers. stayed overnight. great value for money this hotel chain. the only con was limited food options at the cafe downstairs. was happy overall.

I stayed at Travel Lodge in Borehamwood. The room cost £50 per night even though was advertised for £19!

Got into the room and smelt like a curry house. Carpets were filthy, found a pubic hair on the bathroom side, toilet roll had a red mark on it (looked like blood) and cups all had stains in them.

Turned on the T.V and there was no remote control. Went to call reception but we had no phone in our room. Called reception from my mobile phone requesting a remote control and was told there are only 3 in the whole hotel and there is nothing they can do about it!

Requested to change room as ours was filthy and was put in a room of exactly the same standard except there was no pubic hair in the bathroom. Anyway stayed there and had the most uncomfortable nights sleep as mattress did not support my back and woke up with bite marks all over my body!
