Nothing beats people that love what they do. Juan and Jennifer are amazing example. I was travelling solo, so I was kind of nervous. They took their time to get to know me, offer up some great things to do around the island and made me feel at home. As far as location, I'd say it's prefect. Yes, you have to walk to the main beach about 15 min, but the island itself is incredibly busy with traffic so at night, the building is rather quiet and relaxing. The room I had had a single bed and enough shelf room for all my clothes, toiletries etc. They also have an in room safe as well. The bed is new and comfortable. The living room comes complete loads of dvd movies and games to play in case it rains etc. San Andres is a beautiful place to visit, but my stay at the Blue Almond made my visit incredible. Good people, great place to stay, and always something to do. I can't wait to come back and do it all over again.
