Whibberley Cottage

Just got back from a fantastic break at Whibberley cottage - An idyllic cottage in a chocolate box village full of olde worlde charm and character and has been sympathetically refurbished to a very high standard with quality furnishings. The cottage has everything you could wish for and the owners have gone to great lengths to make it a home from home. 3 bedrooms 2 with double beds could easily accommodate 5 people. Downstairs toilet, shower room and cloak area perfect for shrugging off muddy boots & coats and second bathroom upstairs a bonus when everyone wanted the loo at the same time!!

Lots of walks from the village as well as plenty of local attractions - Bakewell & market, Matlock & Matlock bath, Gulivers Kimgdom & Heights of Abraham, Monsal trail, Laithkill Dale to name a few

Had a meal & drinks at the local pub 'The Bull' 50 yds from the cottage - excellent pud grub & lovely 'village pub' atmosphere - there are two pubs in the village

Although it was winter when we stayed would love to come back in the summer and make use of the secret garden and bar-b-que area

We will definitely be coming back & will be recommending this one to our friends & family - a real gem
