For the bookings, the company dealt with all enquiries efficiently and quickly with an easy to understand and use system to pay deposits and final balances.

Would have been useful to know that they could not be in the same building. We booked two of the largest apartments for a big group (4 families) and wanted them to be as close as possible so the children could move between them easily and give us lots of choices in arranging where everyone slept - i.e. ideally in the same building. The design of the buildings meant there was only one large apartment in each block so this was never going to be possible.

After arrival we found that both apartments had a number of problems even though it was the first week of the ski season. Although reported at the time, these were not addressed by the resort. On return the company was informed and they worked really well and efficiently in response to my concerns, getting a partial refund.

I needed help with a booking and the staff were very helpful. They answered emails very quickly and were very friendly.

I booked a cabin in Norway and was very impressed with the communication and quality from villasdirect. Also with the chat facility which enabled information to be obtained quickly. There was an unavoidable problem with the property we had chosen but was quickly resolved by the advisor who was very professional. Highly recommended.

Just back from Italy where I rented a fantastic tiny place (or palace!) by lake Como - flew to Milan and had a really relaxing time. I've been renting for many years now, and have seen many websites appear out of no-where. This is one I have used in the past, but of course I have shopped around! Some websites are now wanting to charge me to book! I do the work, what am I paying for? Others are hiding what they charge in the price - some are even 20% higher than this site or HomeAway. One in particular has just been advertising on TV in the UK saying 'much cheaper than hotels' - well VillasDirect.com is much cheaper than them too! The service has also been second to none - and questions and they come back to you almost immediately.

i just registered my holiday home on this site. It is a user-friendly site. Takes you through all the steps to build your own property page. Help tab is useful, and the staff assisting are great. Friendly, giving clear instructions and happy to explain.

I very much like the look of the website. Easy to input photos and they are very clear. Great to have the facility of a slideshow. Easy to input information. I couldn't see how to input our prices, but she has very kindly done this for us.

We are impressed by the range of properties that VillasDirect offers. I had problems loading my advert. On contacting the customer services department, my call was dealt with politely and in a professional manner and all attemps were made to fulfil my request. I was not able to continue uploading my advert straight away, due to my own time restraints, however, my progress was being monitored by the Villas Direct team, who gently nudged me to enquire if everything was alright! The problem did persist and it transpired there was a bug in the website, which was rectified almost immediately upon my alert and I was able to successfully load my advert without further hesitation. Excellent service so far and now I am looking forward to some bookings!

the pictures are large are really get noticed plus the description is great. its a good way of letting people know what there getting for there money. the site gives you plenty of choose for every budget and caters for everyone. overall I think villasdirect is an excellent site for renting a holiday villa or cottage.
