We are now back in Norway from our stay in NewYork , lucky for us we missed the Storm Sandy or we would have been in big trouble. We are now reviewing the places we stayed and the places we liked and disliked and the companies we found helped us along the way. We make our accommodation booking using NewYork Stay site which we found on Google using a search for 'Holiday apartments in NewYork".

We checked out the first 4 listings on Google and finally settled on NewYorkStay only because they got back to us within minutes of us making our request, so a great start to the service they provided us. We dealt with two different girls , Melissa and Chandra and we have to say they really know their NewYork. They forwarded us a list of properties which matched our requirements and answered all our questions.

We booked a lovely apartment in west village. When we arrived in Manhattan the driver was waiting for us as Melissa had arranged and we were driven right to our apartment. The owner nancy was waiting for us on arrival and we were checked in without any hassle. The apartment was simply perfect and was as advertised, beautiful decor , top class furniture and location was simply the best. We were close to great restaurants , a few lovely bars and even a gym for us to work out at. We stayed 14 nights and enjoyed every moment of it.

We would recommend the Horatio Street apartment to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Manhattan. Both ourselves and our 2 friends loved this place and the location. Well worth the $$$. We would return in a heart beat and we plan too.

We will be travelling to Manhattan shortly with the children for a thanksgiving treat. we needed a large place to stay so hotel rooms were not really an option for us so we decided on a vacation apartment. We searched on Google and found several sites and contacted the first few companies to seek advice and help.

Within a few minutes we had our first reply from New York Stay asking how they could help. I replied explaining what we needed and the areas we wanted to stay as we had friends living in East village area and wanted to be close to them for thanks giving dinner.

Melissa from New York Stay replied within a few minutes offering us three places all within a block or two of our friends address and a few others slightly further away. I decided to get on to their live help system as I need to ask a few questions and to be sure they were legitimate. I got a instant answer and it was Melissa on the live chat.

She answered all my questions and really put my mind at ease. I reserved a 3 bedroom place just one block from our frinds house and did the entire booking within a fee minutes. We paid 10% deposit and will be paying the balance to owner on arrival.

Melissa confirmed our reservation and all went well. I received a mail from the owner within the 24 hour confirmation period and she arranged the check in on our arrival November 21st.

We still had not received any relies from the other sites we contacted after 14 hours so we were delighted to have found Melissa and NewYorkStay.

The owner has mailed us to confirm all is in order for our arrival again today and she seems really nice and friendly

So i can recommend NewYorkStay and their Melissa for their excellent service they offered me to date.

I shall review the accommodation after our return later this month, it looks lovely and spacious but will return back here to confirm it was as stated.

I would like to give this company some feedback on our recent stay in New York.

Even at the start of my dealings with them, I have found their team to be so helpful and will definitely recommend to anyone.

The owner of the apartment we booked was out of the country when we checked in at his place and a courier just delivered the keys to us.

The apartment was very nice, with outstanding views but there was an initial issue with the apartment being not fully cleaned and with some of last tenants rubbish but NewYorkStay.com made it a good experience.

I called their office annoyingly and had spoken with their client advisor Melissa who was more than polite and prompt in addressing my concerns.

She sent in Chandra, one of their managers to meet me and resolve the problems.

She was friendly and knowledgeable-perfect combination!

She's with a cleaning lady which was awesome.

I guess they are very great at sorting out the issue and I am really impressed.

Well worth the saving from staying in a hotel.

The stay with newyorkstay.com apartment has been great.

The building is spotless and quiet.

The customer service are very accommodating and the roof view is lovely.

The washing machine in our floor is a big help as well and their staff is discreet and organized.

I am surprised and very very pleased.

Plus the location is my favorite, Williamsburg is fabulous!

It is my first time to use such service but having done so I will happily use New York Stay again.
