I Went To Woodland Manor Farm For A Long Weekend I
I went to Woodland Manor Farm for a long weekend in June. The weather was stunning which helped of course but the cottage was just lovely.
We stayed in Rose Cottage, one of 3 cottages that the have there of varying sizes. The setting is lovely with rolling fields and our cottage was really well presented, clean and full of everything that we needed.
I was with my young niece and there were plenty of childrens toys for her to play with. The rooms were big with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were modern and the kitchen was really well stocked. There was a outside eating area, indoor heated swiming pool and games room.
There were also other nice touches that really made it a great experience. For example, you can order certain things to be in your fridge for your arrival (bacon, eggs for breakfast after a late arrival). We were also given a homemade lemon drizzle cake to welcome us! And they also keep animals (pigs, sheep and shetlands)which we took our niece out to see at feeding time.
The location is good, feels like you in the middle of nowhere but you just a few miles from the 'Atlantic highway' which links north Cornwall to Devon. About 5 miles from Bude.
Really good times! Would recommend.
