Agency Without Principles Or Good Reputation

We are two people who have rent the flat located just in the city center in Brighton, property is "Heart of the Lanes" for one month

Not only don´t recommend the property, we not recommend the agency in general, this is the worst agency in the United Kingdom and Europe.

-The property we stayed in has an incredible location, but only that!

The apartment was completely dirty, (we have photo evidence of it) bathrooms without washing or disinfecting, condoms and papers used in the bedrooms, kitchen with clumps of grease in some drawers and dirty cutlery, the floor was not vacuumed for education and respect for the guest, conclusion, the only clean thing were the bed sheets and towels

-Misleading advertising!

They say in the website about the property we have rented, "the property is interior (without street views), so it is very quiet and does not have to withstand the typical noise of the street", this is true,it has no views, but don´t say that just under property there is 2 restaurants, and from the principal bedroom and living room and kitchen you can hear for about 14 hours everyday the incredible noise of industrial extractors from the kitchens of the restaurants, even in some moments you can feel the rumble of the extractors throughout the property, So much so, that one night in the early morning I ended up with my sister in the emergency room of a hospital due to a stress crisis due to noise (we have proof)

The property is poorly insulated, the windows are almost broken so the noises and smells of the kitchens of the restaurants are more than guaranteed and the cold in the winter months even more.

The property has a huge water heater, which works but does not send hot water anywhere on the property because it has no pressure system, so they offer something they do not have. It only has cold water.

In the bathroom you can find an electric shower, from which there are minimal drops of hot water, was stressful to take a shower in that bathroom

On the furniture, this is amazing, there is many furniture and you lack really necessary furniture, it has really disastrous and uncomfortable furniture, it has only charity shop furniture, the mattresses of the beds are of the lowest quality you can imagine, you can feel all the wires that are inside the mattress, this is beautiful and perfect only for homeless.

In order to recover our 250 pounds of deposit for renting that hovel we had to wage a telephone battle and emails with each of the people of this agency who refused to return the money, even after 3 weeks of our check out. (They only teased each call).

One day when I lost my nerves, I sent many emails and called many times, and with a sarcastic smile by telephone, an older woman told me "you have a contract with us and we will return the money when we see that it is time", after 3 weeks of our check out !!

I called many times, send many emails trying to recover my 250 pounds of deposit, but very cynically the older woman told me that she was going to report me to the police so that they would open a criminal history for intimidation, and that they would return my money after 3 days, more earlier no.

All the bad that can be read from this agency is more than true, we could prove it with a fatal experience, they play and do financial business with people's money, they have no professionalism, ethics or values.

To give back the deposits are very strict, and for nothing in the world they return it until almost a month after the check out, it is for the only thing that they are strict and they comply with their rules, because they ignore them or forget them when cleanliness, neatness, comfort and veracity of advertising are involved

I'm going to publish this in each place that I can find for leave to everybody our experience with this agency!

Don't Waste Your Money!

We stayed at Vegas 2 for a hen do and are thoroughly disappointed with the state of the property. The size of the property was misleading to start with. By no means should this say it can accommodate 14 people. I would say 10 at a push! The cutlery, crockery and glasses were extremely dirty with food dried on and around. The fridge hadn't been cleaned. The 2 bathrooms were both filthy with broken elements. The dust on surfaces was disgusting and the floor left our feet extremely black with dirt after minutes of arriving. There was not enough hot water for everyone, we had to time our showers to accommodate for everyone! The building was extremely run down, I realise now why they don't show photos from outside of the property. All of the phots are not what the place actually looks like. Do not waste your time or money! This was not at an appropriate standard of being rented out at the price we paid (£1,700) for the weekend! Even worse, it's proving extremely difficult to get a response from someone and get our cleaning fee back at the very least! The stay was extremely uncomfortable and I would advise, if you don't want to be let down then do not trust these places! Our neighbours (Vegas 1) also had the same issues, they told us as we were leaving they had stained bed sheets and it was dirty throughout!

Dirty Accomodation Which Did Not Match Pictures

We stayed in Marine Villa 1 and were thoroughly disappointed. There were stains on the carpets, ceilings and walls and broken furniture in the kitchen and living room. For a 2-bathroom property that sleeps 18, we were surprised to find that there was only enough hot water for 4 people before it ran ice cold. The fact that the website describes the property as 'decorated, furnished and finished to a very high standard' is an absolute joke. I was excited about staying in a beautiful home, but instead it felt like I was a student again. I would not recommend that anyone stays here until they sort the place out, or stop lying in it's description.

Awful Customer Service

Had booking changed 48hours before we arrived from seafront flat to terraced house. The house was filthy. We complained and got told to use the bedding to clean it as that was what they did on changeover day. We complained to the office who said we should've complained before 9pm on day of arrival (even though we had a busing meeting to attend upon arrival then out to dinner). Spoke to boss about cobwebs, dirt, grease, cracked crockery, broken glass in back door, no light bulbs, hairs in shower, stains on the wall. She was going to look into it and ring back.....still waiting for the call 4 weeks later.

Final straw was waking up to a drunk tramp asleep on the doorstep one morning. We were refused a move or to view other properties.

Do Not Book With This Company

Can only advise people not to book or trust this company. Just had to call and chase my £350 deposit after 2.5 weeks, was meant to have been refunded within 7 days. Im sure I wouldnt have got it had I not called to chase. No real apology for this. The house itself (36 Dean St, Brighton) was fine. However we had no hot water all weekend. A plumber came out to the house to fix it on Fri night. I have photographic evidence of him in the house! This didnt work and on Sat morning I was advised by a girl in their office that the boiler had completely gone. Helpful with a house full of ten girls! So we all got taxis to friends houses nearby to shower. After checking out the house I called to complain about this, £1000 for a weekend and no hot water is obviously unacceptable. But I was pretty much called a liar. They disputed the fact that the boiler had gone (which was their words not mine!) and refused to compensate me saying that no other guest since had had any issues. Good for them but we certainly did have issues. The complaint was handled very badly and I was refused compensation and practically called a liar over the whole thing. I cannot advise to book with this company at all. Their service after our stay was just aweful.
