Overpriced

We stayed in a Bournecoast rental, it was the most expensive rental we have ever used! It could have been a beautiful house but was tired and neglected. Bournecoast rentals are just out to make money and certainly don’t maintain their properties. The blinds were hanging off the windows, the sofa bed was so old it was dreadful, lightbulbs didn’t work and there were no spare bulbs, the batteries in the remote were dead, don’t need to say more!

Expensive And Sub Standard Property

Pay up front and very expensive for quality. No recourse when things go wrong. Had to had flat fumigated but apparently doesn't constitute reason for apology or even good will gesture! Shocking don't use.

Do Not Use Them At Any Cost.

Shocking after care. If you want a property next door to a building site these guys will sort you out.

If you want a relaxing break... Look elsewhere.

Tregonwell Apartment, The Strand

Brilliant position for holiday in Bournemouth as close to town or beach. Listed as a luxury self catering apartment but not what I would call luxury. Clean and tidy on arrival but no extras, not even a tea towel! The front door is meant to be secure with a combination to get in but was never secure and always open? Unfortunately on our first night we discovered immigrants sleeping in the basement next to the parking bays? The apartment was very convenient for a family base and I would consider it again but the iron didn't,t work so needs replacing. We were on holiday so didn't let things get us down as there to enjoy ourselves but some serious security issues.

Very Bad Experience

I rented an holiday appartment and had to pay 200 pounds damage deposit. They didn't pay it back,but I damaged nothing.

Terrible, Upsetting Experience.

Terrible experience with Bournecoast holiday lettings, -partly ruined a birthday weekend. No towels/bedlinen at property on arrival. Rusty old lock which broke and were locked outside property for 1.5 hours. No proper system of tradesmen on call. Employee called tradesmen of co. &they wouldn't pick up phone &she was  left running round to properties at night to deliver missing bed linen/towels &was very upset and didn't know what to do. Eventually a friend of someone at the co. came. He was not pleasant to deal with & caused damage to door in breaking us in. We didn't get back in until after midnight after 1.5 hours in pouring rain. No one offered shelter, alternative accommodation, no one gave us a call afterwards 2 check if things were ok. In response 2 my complaint Bournecoast blame my partner and I for what happened, and are demanding a further almost £200 FROM US on behalf of the owner and have, I believe, misrepresented what happened and our conduct to the owner of the property. Shocked and appalled.
