Adeje Gran Hotel Tenerife

The hotel has scope to do better.

1)Change that bloody spaghetti Bolognaise that was every night, change it to a different theme.

2)Waiters should guide you to the table then ask what you would like to drink, it was chaos you had to find your own table and then hope someone would eventfully come over and ask you what you wanted.

3)The drinks were fair, this ranged from having a Bacardi and coke by the pool that would knock you socks off and in the night it was so week it done nothing.

4)They have it write and wrong about leaving towels on the lounger, you can leave for 20 minutes and they will put a note on your lounger, but you can be away for 4 hours up on the hotel roof and they will not do nothing.

5)The cocktails should be for free or a fair price.

6)There were two large lower pools, one of which was served by more than enough staff, the other one was served by just one person.

When I informed the waiter that he should have more help he replied the boss say 1 is enough. I then informed him that his boss was a idiot.

7)Food is the same thing nearly every night, they should do more theme night. I like lamb chops but had to have 20 lamb chops to have a mouthful of meat.

8)The queuing for anything that looked good wore you down in the end.

9)There was a drip coming from the roof, the two weeks we were out there nothing was done to stop the leak, only a sign saying beware and a bucket to catch the drops.

10)Salads, fruits and deserts were very good.

11)Bed, showers, and rooms were very good and the maid service was very good.

12)It is not a 5 star bur a very good 4 star.

13)If that is Thomas cooks usual comfort on their planes, then i for one will ever fly with them again. It was more akin to what Guy Fawkes had to prevail whilst in the torture chamber, if the captain would have said we are going to crash i myself would have looked at the bright side and thought "every cloud has a silver lining" at least when we would have hit the sea it would have been over in seconds. Those were the worst seats ever, bit like sparky the chair on Alcatraz they were shocking.

I have just returned from my holiday in Tenerife i stayed in the adeje gran hotel and i had a great time in fact i would say it was proberly one of the best holidays i have ever had. The hotel was absolutly beautiful on the outside the structure of the building looks very well looked after and also the pools in the hotel where beautiful one of them has a glass bottom which you can see if you look up at the ceiling in the reception area, the reception is absolutly beautiful decorated all in marble and indoor water features its all absolutly stunning, the rooms were not to bad either they could have been better for a five star hotel but i cant complain rely to be honest i spent most of my time either round the pool or on the beach.
