Don't Get Screwed Like I Did!!

Ez rental/Advantage car rentals goes out of their way to screw people and blame everyone else for it.

To start, I waited in line for 2 hours. I should have taken that as a clue and ran like my life depended on it.

When I finally got to the counter the guy told me that I should have read all policies before reserving a car. I did, but since it was through a 3rd party site the disclosures I read were not useful in keeping me from getting screwed. He then said that he wasn't going to bother telling me their policy and just let me figure it out for myself after I was out in the lot. That's a horrible thing to say to a customer. He then Blamed everything on rentalcar.coms.

They charged me double for an SUV then refused to give me one. They said I can't rent an SUV because of where I live even though it had nothing to do with where I was driving the car. They gave me a sedan and refused to lower the price. I called their call center and emailed their corporate office multiple times. Each time the rep was polite when telling me they didn't care about me or how their policies screwed me.

When at the counter I was asked if I wanted to pay for the tolls in advance and I said yes. He entered no so 2 weeks later I got charged $23.75 in tolls and $50 for not setting it up in advance. Just another way to get more money out of me. When I called again they told me to call the toll road to dispute it. They weren't the ones that charged me the $50 so that was pointless. They have gone out of their way to smile while screwing me over. Beware. This company is evil.

Caveat Emptor - Dishonest Company

Rented a car at Atlanta. When I returned the car, there was no EZ Rentacar representative present at the return site! I parked in the appropriate space, left the keys in the car, and caught my flight. Gas tank was full.

On my credit card statement, they charged me for 2 extra days! There are 2 parking spaces for returned cars at the Atlanta airport. They apparently couldn't find the car for 2 days.

I called the customer service number. No answer. Left message. No return call.

Good luck finding corporate contact information, other than the "customer service" number that they don't answer.

Patronize them at your own risk.
