Asked if they could transfer a car I had seen on their website, from another branch, cash sale, salesman looked at me as if I was stupid and said no.

No reason given, so I will take my £12,000 and spend elsewhere, never to return

Had a car hired through my work, our flight was delayed, when arrived at the airport, I used the courtesy phone, they said that a rep would be sent out, and to wait by the phone. 20 mins later my colleague noticed the rep wandering around the other side of the hall. We were then shuttled into the city 7 miles from the airport. The service here was poor, and was told to return the car to the city. As I was staying at the airport I refused as it was an airport hire, and was asked to leave at the short stay. I was told this would have an extra charge. This has been refunded to my work after my complaint. It took over an hour from arrival at the airport to driving off.

Rented a car from arnold clark. Was told they would check flight times & be at the airport to collect us. However, our flight was delayed by 45 minutes to 5.15 & they charged £30 extra for meet and greet because their office closed at 5pm. All other rental company offices were still open. The only other option that they offered was to pick up the car from their office next morning - not much good if you are stuck at the airport.

Don't use them if your flight might be delayed!!
