We rented a soft-top 4x4 Suzuki Jimny in Bali, at the best rental I've ever used, Racer. This business is operated by it's owner for 20+ years, he's the first one to open in Bali, the prices are the cheapest, however the quality of the cars and service are the best. The Jimnys he had were the newest model available, with all the goodies (4x4, power windows&mirrors, CD/radio, A/C), were fitted with brand new tires, had a spare, all the tools, fire extinguisher, emergency sign and a first aid kit. All the other rentals we checked had earlier model Jimnys which looked much more used and abused, had old tires with lots of small cracks in the rubber, no CD and just the spare with tools.

The rental terms at Racer were great, and we were completely happy with the car and everything. When we happened to have a flat tire, I changed to a spare, and Dimitrios (the owner) repaired the flat himself (for free), which was trouble-free for the rest of our vacation. Highly recommended!
