Paid over £800 to this company, I had a phone call on the Monday prior to my daughters wedding that the were going bust.

Managed to hire another bus for another £800! Not easy to do prior to an August bank holiday.

I can’t tell how much stress this caused me and my daughter.

Haven’t heard a word from them since, although they promised to contact us in October.

Their address was Covent Garden, London passing this on in case they set up under another name .

I contracted the services of the Routemaster Bus Company to transfer my 65 wedding guests from the registry office to the reception. It didn't show up, even though I gave an additional hour for it to arrive. I was advised I should find other means of transport, which all my guests did because we had no choice. I've not been issued a refund even though it's now 5 weeks after the event and very clear cut that it was their fault. I've been fobbed off continoously and had the phone put down on me on at least four occasions with no reason or apology being received. This is the email I received when I asked for the refund.......

I am now having to go down the legal route with no end in sight. I didn't think that companies with service like this existed anymore. I wish I'd read the reviews first before booking them but they seemed like a rustable company.

We rented the bus to promote our company and it was an amazing experience. Branding looked good, all was very good organised and the driver was extremely helpful and made our job so much easier. I recommend them without hesitation and for sure I will use their services again soon.

I couldn't recommend this company enough! Our Canadian guests loved the retro routemasters but the service was much more than just the buses themselves.

These drivers braved the Surrey hills and despite the roads being closed due to an accident, the police let them through to get the Groom to the Church on time! The drama and suspense all added to the experience. We had music playing on the buses and provided champagne in plastic flutes to create a fun party atmosphere. Our guests just didn't want to get off the buses when we arrived at our venue. We have been playing the music from our bus playlist ever since!

This company was recommended to me by a friend who had used them before and our wedding venue and I will be sure to recommend them to anyone else. The drivers even stuck around for a bit so we could get some photos with the bus. Such a brilliant service!

We hired two Routemasters to transport friends to (1830hrs) and from (latest 0200hrs) our party. The party was in the country so the route was slightly tortuous and they recc'd the route beforehand to suggest helpful alternatives which was appreciated. There was a slight mis-communication between the office and the drivers, but once sorted, the hiring went very well. Good buses (pretty original condition, clean etc), no hiccoughs with timings, helpful drivers. I'd use them again.

We hired a Route Master bus to take us from our office to our corporate summer party. It made what would have otherwise been a very dull journey really fun and everyone loved it. One tip - you can bring along your own CDs to play music en route. The driver was also lovely and dealt with rush hour traffic well, finding good alternative routes where necessary.

My girlfriend & I organised a night out in London with all our friends for her birthday, the bus looked amazing, and turned so many heads as we partied on our way into town. The Driver and staff were so helpful, they were on time and really helped us when we couldn't find the bus at the end of the night. We cannot thank you all enough. David & Helen

We booked this company to do a nightclub tour of London, it was an amazing night, the staff were brilliant going out of their way to make the night extra special

Everything went well on the evening we hired a red Routemaster (multiple pick-ups and return).

The bus looks great, the bus driver was on time and friendly, everything run smoothly.

We had a fantastic day with our blue and yellow ribbon festooned bus. For many of the group it was trip down memory lane, but with a special twist. Thecdriver was a treat, looking after us, keeping us updated with meeting / travel details throughout the day, and finding the best route.

We plugged an ipod into the sound system and the quality was great (helped on the return leg by the fact that we won the football), very much encouraging our protracted sing-song. We apologised to the driver for our caterwauling!

I would thoroughly recommend your services to potential customers. They might enjoy themselves as much as we did.
