First North Western Rail Replacement Buses

In my opinion the term "rail replacement bus" is almost false advertising. Its like having a Ferrari replacement Donkey! It should not be called a rail replacement bus, it should simply be called a bus!

For example my train journey normally takes 50 minutes. On the rail replacement bus it took 2 hours and 5 minutes! I genuinely would have been better getting the normal bus as opposed to a bus that goes around the world visiting each and every train station on route. If the trains are cancelled just get the normal bus if at all possible as this is by no means a like for like replacement. As I was boarding the bus it would have been helpful to have been told an estimated journey time so I could have made an informed decision as to whether to waste over 2 hours making a 50 minute journey. Very frustrating!
