Madrid Barajas Airport

I had booked a transfer from Barajas to Estacion Sud. We agreed a Merc taxi, and the price was to be €40 payable to the driver. My 2 companions and I arrived on time from Dublin, expecting to be met by a driver with my name on a placard. but no one appeared. We waited 30 minutes, and searched the meeting area without success.

I did not have the local contact number in my papers. We were under pressure to catch a bus to Leon, so we went outside and got a local taxi, who got us there in time for our bus, charging €50.

When I returned home,I took the no show up with the company.

I was dealt with (by email) by the most obnoxious and sarcastic individual I have ever run across, who insisted that the driver was there.

To add insult to injury, €40 was taken from my credit card account, and I cant get it back.

Unfortunately the only contact I have with the company is the individual I mentioned. I have been unable to locate the company home office to complain.
