Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Crazy crazy place to catch a flight. Delays galore when going through security. So much better off to fly from OC airport or Burbank if possible. Stress city and very crowded here. Lots of traffic getting to and from it as well.

Never again. After a stop over via LAX we vowed never to fly via the usa again. half the time was spent waiting in a queue in an non air-conditioned corridor while an american jobsworth 'checked' our documents to enter a secure transit lounge before departing again. The transit lounge was dismal with no facilities. The flight crew just kept apologising for the lack of service. We now fly via Hong Kong or Singapore when traveling to New Zealand/Australia a much more friendly, customer focused, experience.

Los Angeles International Airport is clean, nicely laid out, the roads aren't congested as say N.Y. for example, and the wait for take-off is not as long as you would think for the 5th busiest airport in America.
