I've had experience in using a mini cab service - working in a facility services administration office, I booked cabs through a well known SE London company for four years and they are supposed to be really big but unfortunately there was at least one or two hiccups per day. Luckily this review isn't about them - it's about a mini cab company called Your Local Car and they have been absolutely lovely.

I've had to use them to get to Heathrow and the driver showed up ten minutes early which was really nice because I feared they'd either be on time or worse, late. The guy was friendly and welcoming into his car. It was clean with no clutter; very professional. He had his car radio on but it was soft which is good. I paid him the 45 quid which they quoted me on and gave him a tip for being a really good transporter which started his day off quite nicely.

My second experience with them was just as brilliant. I couldn't pick my sister and nephew up from the airport so I pre-booked them a car from Your Local Car and they were again, FABULOUS. I thanked the driver for taking care of them (meeting them at the international gate and driving them to our house). My sister tells me that he was friendly and chatty so that was really nice.

I definitely recommend this mini cab company - prices are good and the staff (drivers and office people) are professional, helpful, and friendly.
