Efficient Transfer Service
A member of staff was at the airport waiting for us as was indicated on the confirmation email. The transport was then called for and only took about 10 minutes for the car to arrive which took us directly to our hotel.
Our return journey was equally as efficient. Our driver turned up early to accommodate the traffic volumes and roadworks. On the return journey, our driver pointed out landmarks and imparted some local knowledge with us. A very friendly chap.
At the airport we were dropped off exactly outside of the terminal we would be flying from and was told exactly where the baggage check and departure areas were. having never been to this airport, this information was greatly appreciated.

Really easy to use and find. Gave us plenty of time to go through the airport on the way back and was waiting for us when we landed. Would definitely use again.

We chose this option as very reasonable price compared to private transfers.
Very straight forward to find your allocated transfer coach. Dropped off straight outside our hotel.
Downside is you have to wait for other passengers and do drop offs and pickups but this was not a problem.
Wasn’t sure of pickup time but an email to customer services was responded to very quickly.

On arrival the check-in desk was easy to find (Canary shuttle). We left airport after about 15 minutes but 2 minutes down the road something was wrong with the bus and the driver wasn't happy. She phoned someone and a replacement bus arrived but unfortunately it was 1 sit to small, so we got off (me and 2 friends) and again with-in 2 minutes another replacement bus arrived for us 3, dropped-off straight to our hotel. Pick-up for return flight was 1 minute early which great (last pick-up) dropped off at the airport with-in 25 minutes. Great service.

Alicante Airport To Benidorm (return)
Really impressed by price, booking well in advance. Received email with good instructions to follow upon arrivial at Alicante airport. Minus2 floor, and Shuttle Direct kiosk provided further instructions and bus bay. Waited about 45 minutes for all passengers to onboard and then 40 minutes to our Old Town destination.
Return: received an email 2 days before with pick up time. 8.35am, and then 40 mins drive to airport meant we were there really early when our flight was 12.55pm.
Would be good to have a later pick up time so not there 4 hours before departure. Other than that, coach spotless and will definitely use again.

How is the transfer between Malaga and Motril/Almunecar?
How can I get my money back that they took for transportation that I have no possibility to use because their bus has not arrived on time?
In short,the answer is,you will not get your money back.My elderly friend and I booked a transfer with Shuttledirect. We waited hours with promises that they were on their way, they did not turn up,so we had to get a taxi. I rang Shuttledirect several times,speaking to the same lady,who told me,they would pay me the transfer cost but not the taxi fare,as I did not have a receipt. The taxi driver did not speak any English, and he did not understand my Turkish. She said they had my bank details and would put the cost of the transfer back into my account. It did not happen.All Shuttledirect want is to take your money and not provide a service.They advertise on the internet and foolishly I thought their service would be good.WRONG!!I feel that they should not be allowed to advertise on the internet as they are still getting away with duping customers out of their money.
There are reputable transfer companies who care about their customers and provide a good service,thankfully Shuttledirect is in a minority. I have put it down to a bad experience,a learning curve to ensure that I do not make the same mistake again.
This incident made me want to write a review, (my first) so as to warn others not to use Shuttledirect,which goes to show the importance of reading reviews before making your decision on which transfer company to use. Good luck with a transfer company on your next holiday.
