We used Active Cabs service during our vacation on Malta several times and we'd never recommend it to anybody.

Drivers are always late. One of the drivers was even drunk (!!!) during the trip.

We were also almost late for our flight because of this taxi - the first driver picked other people up instead of us and we had to wait for the other car. Next driver was even worse. We were 2 women and 3 children and he denied helping us with the baggage because "he's not porter". When we put our heavy suitcases in the car and sat in the cat telling him that gentlemen would never behave like he does, he denied driving us to the airport!!! Just said us he would be happy if we were late for our flight.

I don't know what the principle of hiring employees is but I'd advise you not to use this taxi and not check it by yourself!

We visit Malta regularly and have in the past tried several taxi cab companies to get from Malta airport to our hotel in Sliema or St Julian's. In March this year we found the Active Cabs website, offering Malta airport transfers and cab services.
