Did Their Best Not To Refund Part Of The Ticket
My Son needed urgent surgery & had to get him on the next available flight with another airline since RJ siad that they have to wait for their doctor the next morning. So I bought him a ticket with emirates airlines who put him on the plane with the hospital report only. So, when I asked RJ to refund part of the ticket, they asked for all the medical reports for the surgery. Then they refused to do any refund.
They Are Carry On Bags Robbers
They took my carry on bag saying it's not gonna fit in the plane.. They told me I'm gonna get it with other bags on the belt when I reach Chicago. When I reached and got the bag all my gold was gone. They are Robbers don't trust them. Never expected that from a well known flight.
Worst Customer Service. No Response To Missing Bags
I traveled from Delhi to chicago. My bags did not arrive in chicago. It has been more than 15 days I am year to receive one bag. I called several times. No response. I went to airport to meet in person. No luck. Same response. Worst airline. Worst or no customer service at all.
Be ware of the bags. Try to avoid.
I called every day. No one picks up the phone. World traveler web site does not update. I emailed but no response.
Lost Luggage, Unproffesional Staff, Contact Problems
I was dissapointed with choosing RJ airlines twice out of 2 times on board with them...
I had A flight from Madrid airport to Bkk in Thailand and 3 months later return from New Delhi in India DO Berlin.
In Madrid I was told that they cannot let me on board unless I show them my flight ticket out of Thailand within 30 days (as I was going there uppon arrival visa for 30 days). I said, it was ridiculous as I would be leaving Thailand via land crossing to Laos after 2 weeks and obviously I did not have a bus ticket for that. They would still not let me in! I flew like that couple of times before with other airlines and none of them ever gave me bullsh.. like that! If I stayed in Thailand over 30 days that would be me caught by police and paying 500 bath fine for each overstayed day.
What is more, the person I spoke to was RJ representative who was in charge of RJ airlines in Madrid (there was no proper office there). I wanted to see the regulations saying that it was right what he told me but of course they could not provide it. I did not find any information in their webside neither. At the end I was forced to buy a flight ticket out of Thailand to be able to board the plane! I was trying to find the way to complain on that case but unfortunately there was no respond from the airlines...
On my return flight from New Delhi, my luggage was lost (as 5 other people). Luckily it was returened to me after 3 days but the cover was torn! En email given me to the claim luggage department did not exist (I got undelivery reports) and now I am straggling with finding the other way to contact them and claim my money back. They do not pick up the phones and it is impossible to find any other way to contact them specifically regarding luggage lost/damage.

CHARGED ME $100.00 FOR A CARRY ON THAT IS 1.2 POUND OVERWEIGHT. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. THE GENERAL MANAGER AT O'HARE AIRPORT IN CHICAGO IS AN OLD MAN THAT IS RUDE DISGUSTING AND MONEY HUNGRY, HE MAKES COMMISSION OUT OF EACH TRANSACTION THAT IS PROCESSED THROUGH THE COUNTER. HOW DO I KNOW THIS ?? BECAUSE SADLY MY COUSIN WORKS FOR ROYAL JORDANIAN AIRLINE IN AMMAN, QUEEN ALIA AIRPORT. EVEN MY COUSIN IS PLANNING ON QUITTING HIS JOB DUE TO THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR AS AN AIRLINE COMPANY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES.
ALSO, ARE WE GONNA START PAYING FOR THE OXYGEN WE BREATH AND THE WATER WE DRINK ON AIRPLANES. TURN ON THE FREAKIN AC, AND CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS, PASSENGERS CANNOT BREATH !!!! AND, WINCE WHEN AIRLINES STOP SERVING FREAKING DRINKING WATER DURING FLIGHT !! RJ FLIGHT ATTENDANTS HAVE NOT SERVED WATER FOR 4 HORUS STRAIGHT !!

Disappointing Disgusting And Pathetic Experience

Flight scedule one way - Mumbai-Amman-Chicago-St.Louis on 27July 2013
All was fine until my mother reached Amman Airport.
At Amman Airport, she was asked for a return ticket from USA back to India.
When she mentioned she did not have one, the immediate reaction was that 'you cannot fly forward'.
In front of her eyes boarding passes from Amman to Chicago and Chicago to Saint Louis were torn and garbaged.
She was made to walk from one end of buildings to other ends in loop from sales office to immigration office and so on.
The only option they put before her to continue her journey was purchase a returrn ticket.
She mentioned to them that her son (me) was in Saint Louis only for some time so it was not confirmed that return would be from origin Saint Louis itself, hence a one way ticket was reserved.
The immigration officers were too rude and offered almost no help, did not een allow her to use the restrooms.
All the while they were speaking their native language and giving her no idea as to what crime was committed.
The Officials decided to call my cellphone in USA at 1 am in the night central US time and did not even leave a voice mail. They wanted to ask me to purchase the return ticket.
no voice mail was left, and they started blasting my mother at Amman sayinh your son dosen't even receive calls!!
A gentleman from one of the immigration office, eventually turned up and proposed to let her fly forward on his responsibility mentioning to the other officials that she has a valid US visa and that is her end destination.
New boarding passes were issued and and she was allowed to board when te flight was 10 min prior to departture.
the big questions that arise here are -
If Jordan has a policy to allow only those passengers from India to fly forward to USA then in first place why was my mother allowed to board from Mumbai to Amma in first place?
How and why did Royal Jordanian employees at Mumbai airport did not even think about this for a flash of a second.
If this matter was brought to attention in first place all the mental harrasment could have been avoided.
Secondly, a lady 62 years old, atleast show some respect, she has a confimred ticket, a valid visa to her end destination (where she was visited earlier also).
Me, my wife, my parents, my in laws haev earlier travelled one way using Kuwait , Qatar, AeroFlot, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, British, Air India and United.
This was first and last and definitely disappointig, disgusting anfd worst experience with Jordan Airways, a ticket purchsed in the last days due to emergency at an elevated price.
Airlines who cannot respect passengers when they have been given business was a first time experience.
Everyone please keep these points in mind while flying Royal Jordanian.
Purchased Ticket Was Standby Seats; Lost Luggage
We've had a very poor experience with flights and lost baggage on Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ). The tickets we purchase 4 months in advance all turn out to be standby seats, and we've been bumped from multiple flights to arrive at our destination in Colombo, Sri Lanka from Washington DC 2 days late.
Lost baggage: It's now been 5 days since a claim was filed in Colombo, Sri Lanka for a DCA-JFK-AMM-CMB trip.
The website trackers only say ambiguous details such as "received at airport/delivery process initiated" -- it's been stated like this for days now. So we have called the local RJ office in Colombo many times. It is very difficult to get a live person on the phone. The 2 times we actually got through to an RJ staff, they were very rude, abrupt and unwilling to help.
We have spent a lot of money calling RJ internationally, working with the offices in both New York City and Amman. Their staff has assured us the luggage is in route every time -- it just left yesterday and is awaiting you at CMB is the same message -- but no luggage has appeared yet.
Also, RJ is unwilling to provide any coverage of expenses incurred, despite the fact that it's now been over half a week and still we have nothing to wear, none of our belongings, and racking up multiple international phone call charges.
Please, if you know of any recourse we can take, kindly advise - we would be highly appreciative.
Avoid It
In my last trip from Abo Dhabi to Amman I experienced such a barbarian and rude attitude from their staff because I was a little late for boarding. because my mother is old and can't walk quickly and the airport was packed with people. but they didn't understand that. they almost though me out
Felt Awkward And Out Of Place
The on board crew is unprofessional. There is a language problem for sure. If your stopping over at Amman (which is likely), you feel very awkward and out of place. The airport is just not the best and the security checking is very crude. The quality of service and food aboard is poor. They hardly serve like once in a 11.5 hour flight. The baggage arrived on time and was safe.
I agree too. Never travel R.J flights, I lost my 2 baggage's called all the numbers no response from them, I don't know how they are doing Business? WOREST SERVICE......

RJ are using the monopolism system being the only airlines on this rout!!!
