on my flight from dublin to monastir we didnt get off to a great start when the cabin crew couldnt even close the door of the plane it took about ten attempt befor the pilot came out and even he found it hard.the plane must have been 40 yrs old completely filty dirty carpets and seats.the toilets where the same and smelt terrible...but that isnt the half off it.on my return flight with was today ..i can say im very lucky to be writting this review.first when we went onto run way to take off the polit stopped and returned to stand.the plane was checked and given the go ahead to take off. on our second attempted as the plane speed down run way and started to take off engines failed plane slammed down and skiddied down runway then a bit side ways. we could see end off run way from window.all i can say is thanks to that polit.if it had of happened 2 min later we could have been in sky and no douth would off crashed.cabin crew where terrible and told us nothing and it didnt get any better wen we back in airport for a 5 hour delay.please please please if you are thinking off flying with this airline run a mile your life is not safe.it was the most terrifing experience i have ever had.would never fly with these in a million yrs again

Maybe we were lucky on this occasion,l the flight is very basic but it is only for three and a quarter hours so take a book or a pack of cards and take some sandwiches with you to pass on the time.

We had an 8 hour delay, when we got on board my seat was broken, it was in the laid back position all the time, much to the annoyance of the people behind, and mine was not the only one. Some had broken arm rests, several had frayed seat belts. The food on board was inedible. Overall a miserable flight.

Had the most terrifying landing of my life last week with Kathargo on my return flight. The descent was so fast my stomach was in my mouth at times. As the plane hurtled towards the runway it felt like it swerved and hit the tarmac with such a jolt that I screamed. I'll NEVER fly Kathargo again, the airline and planes do not feel safe.

I have just returned from Tunisia flying Monastir- Manchester with Karthago and can safely say that I will never fly with them again. The two hour delay on the way out was nothing compared to the nearly 10 hour delay on the way back. A brief apology was made when we were finally on board but no explanation offered other than that "they'd had a really bad week". What made the experience even worse was the misleading or complete lack of information about what was happening and no obvious presence of staff from the airline at the airport to keep us updated. We were initially informed of a six hour delay by our tour operator (Just Sunshine) on the way to the airport and were transferred to a nearby hotel to wait. We were provided with lunch (though the quality of food was poor). Our tour rep seemed unable to keep us informed of reason for the delay or keep us updated - some passengers resorted to the internet or relatives in the UK for information. When we were taken to the airport after six hours we were informed we would be taking off around 7/7.30. However at 7.30 we were still waiting at the departure gate (although the information boards were flashing 'last call'). The departure time shown on the boards then changed to 8.30, then 9.30. Just after we received a free soft drink for our troubles the boarding announcement finally came and we took off nearly 10 hours late. We were not alone in our experience - the other 4 Karthago flights shown on the information boards were delayed including the Gatwick flight which had a 6.5 hour delay by the time we left, I don't know how much longer they had to wait.
