LCY to Venice via Geneva on 29th March. After cancelling our initial flight for "operational reasons" we got to check-in for the rearranged flight (no online checkin or self service) to be told my wife was now on a waiting list for the flight (another man with his family had been bumped completely). After an hour at the front of check-in they got her a seat, just made Final Call. Their claim that we wouldn't need to change planes at Geneva wasn't true for "operational reasons" and wasn't explained to us until we got there. Long hike through Geneva airport, passport control and security to get to a "Skyteam" flight who didn't seem to expect us and were asked to sit where we could find a seat. On the plus side in-flight service is excellent and the flight back went off without a hitch but doesn't make up for the fiasco going. Wrote an email to complain but after 2 weeks have received no reply. I think they have staff shortages and looking at the website they have reduced the timetable heavily, took on too much too soon I suspect.

Well, FlyBaboo is no Singapore Airlines, but it's by far the best cheap flight I've had. If you have a chance, I highly recommend taking a FlyBaboo flight.
