Copa Airlines

being that I am based in Panama I frequently fly the national airline, Copa Air. The airline is responsible for transforming Panama's Tocumen International Airport into the Hub of the Americas, so I am appreciative (makes it easy for me to get to anywhere from the busy hub at Panama). When I was based in the U.S. I was forced to fly other airlines that offered such poor service I started to really hate flying, but now with Copa I find it almost enjoyable...or as close to enjoyable as one can get considering modern day security, crowding, cost-cutting, etc. If you buy online you get extra points or miles and I've never had a major problem flying Copa...plus, though FAs are surly, I think, on most large airlines, the Copa FAs are quite courteous in comparison. Now I try to fly Copa or its partners every time I fly. The veggie meals on Copa are truly awful but the other food is okay, and at least the airline still offers meals and drinks. The prices aren't bad but could be more competitive. Overall I'd say this airline is the best of the worst when it comes to major international lines.

Copa overcharged my account and refused a refund. I was promised meet/assist service and it was not provided. Luggage was lost and took several days to recover.
