Centralwings Canceled Our Ams-krakow Flight Withou
Centralwings canceled our AMS-Krakow flight without notice; only found out at airport check in. They have no ground rep at AMS and all we got was a Poland phone number to call in. When we finally got in touch with a person on the other end of the line, we were offered either a refund or a booking on the next flight, which is a week later!! It seems like they are so used to canceling flights that their phone reps do now show any sympathy or or offer any help. I wish I had come across this forum before I booked my flight. Will definitely not fly them again!

I Would Definitely Use Them Again. They Provided
I would definitely use them again. They provided the service I expected, they got me from Bologna to Krakow (and my family of five, on 22.07.08) for very little expense or hassle. My baggage arrived in good condition. As a subsidiary of LOT, I would imagine they have more professional support.

On the day of rescheduled flight they tried to send us to Warsaw instead. Poor service, will never fly with them again. Will hopefully see compensation for missed flight out of London.

I would fly with them again! We flew round trip from Amsterdam to Poland. We had no problems with the flight or the service. It was well worth the money that we paid. We were 20 minutes late taking off but the pilot made up the difference in the air.
We Booked Our Flight With Central Wings From Londo
We booked our flight with Central Wings from London Gatwick to Warsaw Poland 2 months in advance. The price was reasonable (well would have been if all went to plan) Two weeks before our flight they e-mailed us to let us know they changed the day's we were flying. They moved them forward one day both departure and return to England. Luckily we were staying with family if we had a hotel booked it would have been a different matter.
We got to the airport checked in no problems. The flight was then delayed 1 1/2 hours due to the plane having "problems" this happens from time to time so we lived with it. We got on the plane and it seemed old. I fly quite a lot and this is the oldest plane i had seen. Anyway we got there ok and had no more problems until the return home flight.
We checked in to be told "your getting a free meal" we thought great but why? "your flight has been delayed 3 hours the plane has broken down at gatwick" This did annoy most people including us as not only were we delayed getting to Poland but also on the way home. We were told that after 3pm (the time of the flight) we could go and claim our free meal. Anyway it got to 2pm and we went to find the restaurant to see what it was like as we were bored by now. The nice lady at the door gave us all the information about coming back after 3pm getting a meal voucher and eating. We then went for a wander around the rest of the airport. At 3:30pm we returned looking to get a meal voucher unable to find anyone. Somebody near by us stopped a member of staff who called a Central wings manager over. He seemed to have great pleasure in telling us "we have cancelled the meals" we all wanted to know why and he told us "because we cancelled your flight" At the point we were all mad. Why had they waited so long to tell us. We were told to get our luggage and await further instructions. Once we finally got our bags back (at 4:30pm) this manager had disappeared. We were then given a ticket to say the flight was cancelled so we could stay in a hotel (the airport hotel) at the expense of central wings. At this point another passenger found out from their office by calling them the flight for the day after had been cancelled too. Now we were all mad. We and most other people went to book other flights to get home some people paying as much as £500 for a one way ticket on a 2 hour flight. We wended up paying £450 for two people from Warsaw to London Luton with Wizzair (good little airline). This was not till 6am the next morning so we got in a taxi to go to the hotel. We got to the hotel to be told that central wings had booked the hotel for 140 people and then cancelled it again as they didn't want to pay the 99 euro's a night. What were we supposed to do? Other people still didn't have flights lucky for us there was family the other side of warsaw so back into the taxi at yet more expense. After all this trying to call them is impossible they don't answer the phone. I have a total lack of respect for this airline and anyone thinking of flying with them should think again. I would not fly with them even if it was free let alone pay for it.

Why Is Anyone In Their Right Mind Still Booking Fl
Why is anyone in their right mind still booking flights with this company??? I have flown between the UK and Warsaw, Poland, twice a month for almost 2 years and on not one occasion was the flight on time, the average delay was over 2 hours and on several occasions it was cancelled, with no notice and no compensation. It became a joke among friends long before fuel hikes caused it to start cancelling flights and routes that were unprofitable. Rude staff, unworkable website, disorganised - I no longer consider Centralwings to be a viable option when booking flights.

If You Like Hanging Around Airports, This Is The A
If you like hanging around airports, this is the airline for you. I consider their flights now NON STOP. There are so many infants on board with parents who seem not able to control them, I call the flights non-stop crying. Perhaps they should charge infants under 2 a fare to curtail the number and add comfort to fare paying adult passengers. My BA flight was a pleasure with extra baggage allowance, complimentary drinks and snack, on time, and no children crying.
So are families with children not allowed to fly? If anything the pressure changes and noises are strange for children so perhaps a little more understanding would be nice.

An Absolute Disgrace. I Rung The Call Centre And T
An absolute disgrace. I rung the call centre and they said that they rang my house number once to let me know about the cancellation. As I was probably at work at the time I do not know how they can justify one phone call that was not answered acceptable as a cancellation notice. We were going to Krakow for my friends Stag do so unfortunately it was ruined. I advice any person booking with this airline to check their flights on a regular basis up to going away. No wonder they are having to cancel flying from airports with such bad customer care.

Cancelled Our Flight (2 Weeks Notice) From Dublin
Cancelled our flight (2 weeks notice) from Dublin to Krakow. Tried to contact them on the phone number given but could not get through. Put on hold. Tried their internet site and found out that they do not list Dublin as a destination any more. Booked flights in a panic with another airline for an extra 200euro. Few days later get an confirmation email from Central Wings saying the flight is going ahead. No explanation or apology in this email. At least with Ryanair you are almost guaranteed that the flight will be going ahead. Trying to get refund at the moment.

Last Year I Was Travelling Back Home After Year Ti
Last year I was travelling back home after year time, we booked our flight in advance as usual, but any way it wasn't one of the cheapest flights, our flight was just few minutes after midnight and what confirmation letter said that they open gates around 2h earlier etc, So what happened we were late, we missed our flight!!! Problem is that the info was very confusing. I spoke with lady at the airport, she gave me contact number to central wings in Poland, I spoke with very rude and unhelpful lady, I ask her if there is any chance that we can rebook our tickets to next flight, she said no and that it's only possible a few hours after you missed your flight. I asked if they can do something for us better as we already paid so much money and that it's not the first time that we flew with them. She said no you have to pay full ticket price with todays rate. So we end up paying again the same amount but only for tickets in one way! We had to go back home it took us over 2h and then come back next night to airport in Dublin. And that's the last time that I flew with central wings. I prefer to pay full price with normal airlines and you can get better customer service. What is more central wings was always late or there was problem the airline!
