The Nile Saray Is My Favourite Cruise Boat On The
The Nile Saray is my favourite cruise boat on the Nile having been at least once a year for many years and alway try to travel on the Nile Saray for part of my trip. I have sampled many cruise boats on the Nile and all are excellent. The Nile Saray is my personal favourite as it is compact and well designed, therefore intimate and easy to make friends on. The food has always been excellent with enough choice. If you wish to compare it to the large ocean going cruise ships this will fall far short of your expectations. If you are there for the excursions - which are second to none and the wonderful, charming Egyptian people and well informed guides, with plenty of fun to be had, then this is for you. Luxury - no, you could find the accommodation quite basic, but always clean and roomy. Remember where you are and enjoy the good company and lovely staff in an amazing country. Good luck to them all.

Had A Faboulous Time On Board What A Fantastic Hol
had a faboulous time on board what a fantastic holiday, was made so welcome and really was looked after ,was kept throughly entertained at all times met some fantastic people.the only thing i would advise is that you don`t book the bottom deck cabins due to the fumes of the boat.the rooms were ok for 2 people no more than that (we had 3 and that was cramped)all in all what a enjoyable holiday and yes we would return.

The Worst Cruise Ever, I Wouldn't Go Back Not Eve
The worst cruise ever, I wouldn't go back not even if it was free,I found hair in the food , the taste is terrible ,like 3 days old , not much vegetables ,not good meat, very simple : like food for dogs back in my contry and by the way, they take your plate away as soonest as they can that way you eat too much.
About the room (I will post some pic's later) were dirty, smelly bathrooms with black mold etc...
Tempeture is hot outside so you want A/C , well it doesn't work for now,,, LOL
Travel agent said that is was 5 STARS , I would say that it's 1 may be 2.
the Ms. nile sarey belongs to SENTIDO but I will never NERVER go back in that stinky boat. THE NILE SAREY IS SO OLD AND DIRTY THAT I'M STILL HAVING NIGHTMARES NOW

Booked Cruise Through Thomas Cook. Cant't Fault Th
Booked cruise through Thomas Cook. Cant't fault the MS Nile Saray - exactly as described in reviews and by Thomas Cook.
Only annoyance was Thomas Cook rep inside Luxor airport who indicated that ther was no need to pay for the Visas as we could "pay on the bus" - what he did't say was that they charge an additional £5 sterling per head for the privilege. Multiply this by the number of passengers on the plane and you have a sizeable scam.
Also don't bother with the stalls at the various historic sites no matter how hard you try you will be shafted. We were even ripped off by a member of the Tourist Police, who asked if we wanted our picture taken and then demanded (with AK 47) payment!! The owners of the MS Nile Saray have some stalls near by the Luxor dock which sell all the items you will find elsewhere but will not be hassled or ripped off with silly prices - even haggling elsewhere leads to eventual rip off.

Don't Take Too Many Clothes As The Laundry Se
Don't take too many clothes as the laundry service on board is excellent and very cheap. All washing is ironed and brought back to your cabin in less than 24hrs. I gave 3 lots of washing in and was extremely pleased with the results and pricing. e.g: 70 per skirt, 30 per bra, 40p per shirt/T-shirt. All washed and ironed.
If you have any Egyptian fancy dress costumes or items take them with you as they have an Egyptian fancy dress party on Friday night but you can buy the costumes on board (app £12 for a full outfit.. ladies or gents) and they are authentic items of clothing.
If you are going to Egypt, take plenty of pencils, colouring pencils, colouring books, children's clothes (even second hand) , small toys (not battery operated) and sweets as they don't get any of these things and it broke my heart to see the cute children, with no toys to play with. They are so grateful for small gifts. The highlight of their day is watching the ships sail by and they wave like crazy when they see you.
This is a once in a lifetime experience so enjoy it. The sights are amazing and there is a lot of walking to do on the excursions. We went end May this year (last week) and the temperature reached 50-51 on most days so a hat and loads of sunscreen are a MUST.
Enjoy ! We certainly did and so did all the other guests on board with us. We all plan to return very very soon (next year hopefully).
