Sea Princess Is Somewhat Smaller In Size Than The
Sea Princess is somewhat smaller in size than the Crown Princess and has 1000 less passengers. However it is spacious, never crowded and caters mainly for the British for Caribbean Cruises. 1800 were Brits and 80 were American/Canadians on our cruise!
The ship has a quieter and more relaxed feel than Crown Princess. It caters for everyone, although the children's facilities are not as good as other Princess ships. This is mainly because it used to be an adults only ship when P&O borrowed it for a couple of years and some of the facilities had to be changed to accommodate families.
The restaurants and cuisine are excellent. They insist on bringing out so much dessert, it's difficult to taste everything. This was apparent on sea days. The shore excursions were fabulous. We went on about five different and were spoiled for choice on some islands. The choice of islands are great, although the trip to Isla Margerita and Cracus are mainly fuel orientated. (34 cents a gallon!). We are booked again on Sea Princess for Easter 2010.
