We Stayed One Week On Costa Fortuna In Jan 2008 On
We stayed one week on Costa Fortuna in Jan 2008 on their Western Carribean cruise. We had a beautiful room with a large window and TV. The cruise had most anything you could think of. The cruise was very affordable however they get you on the drinks. So if you don't drink much, you'll love the value for your money. They also hold any alcohol you buy in ports for you to pick up at the very end of the cruise. Great ports of call... Turks and Caicos... Beach was fantastic. Would have loved to stay there longer.

I Highly Recommend Costa Fortuna. We Sailed During
I highly recommend Costa Fortuna. We sailed during March break with our family of 5 along with my in-laws,brother/sister-in-law and friends. The ship was very busy(March break) but Costa was so efficient. From embarking to disembarking to feeding 3000 passengers, everything was so organized. The crew works non-stop to make your holiday perfect. I am of Italian background and I can honestly say we had the ultimate Italian experience. The food was the best I've had on a holiday even better than some weddings I've been to. The entertainment was great all day-all night. The kids club could of had better hours but they did take them from 5:30 -11:30 on both formal nights so that parents could have adult time. Babysitting available till 1:00am at no extra charge. We loved our holiday and we will sail with Costa again-maybe do the western Carribean next time.

I Have Finally Booked For The First Time A Cruise
I have finally booked for the first time a cruise on the Costa Fortuna for 2/24/08 sailing. We chose the Costa Line because we are Italian and take pride in our heritage. Unfortunately, the day before we received a call from Italy and were told of the passing of my wife sister. My wife immediately departed for Italy for the funeral, So I canceled the trip and to make matters even worse I had no insurance. When I booked it with Interval Travel back in Aug 2007, I was never told of this. All of the Costa and Carnival people (Costa is owned by Carnival Cruise Line) that I have spoke too didn't care of my situation and refused to give me a credit. My wife and I are still looking to take our first cruise even though with the refusal by Costa to give me a credit on a later cruise. I do want to say one thing about an American Company called Continental Airlines, they were nice enough to even waiver a 50 dollars fee to rebook another flight, because they listened and placed themselves in my shoes and extended their condolence..... Where was Costa condolence? Costa, Shame on you...
