Princess Cruises, Coral Princess

Overall this cruise was wonderful. We only had a few problems. One was that we never saw our steward? I have never had that before. Normally they are right at your service. Overall the food was simply ok. The service was not bad. Unfortunately the customer service desk had rude employees. Also in the dining room my kid got laughed at when wearing a tie.

Other then that, nice ship and most staff were good.

Overall impression of the Coral Princess was very good.

I would have to really think about going again!

We enjoyed our side trips, but also thought they were a bit overpriced.

Considering what we paid overall, we were still being gouged to pay for little extras, such as water in our room ($3.00 per bottle).

If nothing else, at least this could have been offered free!

However, the food was excellent, but an overabundance of asian food in the 24-hr cafe. Dining room attendants were excellent. Very friendly, with a sense of humour.

Beds were comfortable.

Good weather throughout, with the exception of one day.

Enjoyed everything very much.

But the Entertainment is lacking for sure! When we did go to the Princess Theatre, I always started falling asleep and had to leave & go back to my room. Certainly, there was nothing there to keep me awake.

On one evening of sea sickness I called down to the desk, and asked if they had anything available in terms of medication, and I was told I had to make my way down to the store to buy something. When I told them I was too sick to go, I was told there was no service for this to my room.

I think this is appalling.

My sister in the next cabin finally came to my rescue, with a medicated patch, and I began to recover very quickly. These should be available (without question) in each room.

Far too much pushing of pictures for high prices. Would it not be better to lower the price, and sell more pictures?

Princess Cruises, Coral Princess - Overall I highly recommend this ship and the Alaska cruise. We found that 14 days was not too long but you can opt for 7 days and fly back.

Coral Princess is such a beautiful ship and the layout is easier to figure out and get around. The formal dinning & informal options are great. This gives one a flexible choice to plan each day individually.
