This Was Our First Caravan Holiday For 25 Years St

This was our first caravan holiday for 25 years staying with two small grandchildren.

The caravan itself was lovely - spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable.

The site is in a beautiful location perfectly placed for Swanage and Studland, amid glorious coastal scenery.

The site is not large and seemed very quiet even though high season.

Children's play area was excellent. The swimming pool very good and the staff helpful, though got a bit crowded when weather bad.

Staff shop reasonably well-stocked, but not much in the way of fresh fruit.

Our only negative finding was the Village Inn. The restaurant is not child- friendly and the food was very poor (fish fingers and chicken "curry" inedible) and expensive. Fortunately Swanage has lots of lovely reasonable family-friendly retaurants.

I've Been Coming Here For Years. The Site Is Surro

I've been coming here for years. The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and is just a few miles from the Studland bay beach, and a mile our so outside Swanage.

There is a large play area which children love. The site is very nicely kept. There is enough space around each static van to play or to eat. The shower blocks have been updated recently and are of a very high standard. The pool is OK, if a little small. The shop would benefit form being larger with a wider range of food.

My only gripe is that food is not served until 6pm (a little late if you have young children hungry after a day at the beach). Also, the take away isn't great.

This Is A Lovely Site In A Beautiful Setting. It's

This is a lovely site in a beautiful setting. It's clear that a great deal of investment has been made here reflected in the high standard of loos and general cleanliness and tidiness.

The Village Inn food is good but a tad pricy but service is attentive and friendly.

Reception staff are helpful knowledgable and friendly

The only downside was the surly and indifferent assistants in the shop. They really do need some training in customer relations
